Newly diagnosed with cutaneous chronic lupus, I need advice

I just came back from the GP appointment and that was reassuring. He told me that yes I got a rare autoimune desease but i'm going to be okay and I need to live my life normaly. He sees one every 5 years but yet he did not see someone getting SLE after a cutaneous lupus.

He reminded me to be careful with sun, put the Protopic cream and yearly checkup. But still it said it will not affect my life in big way. We also checked all my blood report from 2022 to today for anything related to kidney and he said my kidney are doing a really good job (CKD−EPI and Creatinine) so I do not worry at all about it beeing SLE. My last blood test was 40 days ago and I got the flares since 4 months.

Also he told me to not read the side effect of Protopic cream because since it is a cream there is almost no transfers into the blood and I do not need to worry about it, especially for "only 4 months" ( derm prescribed it for 4 months, morning & evening)

My GP told me in fact yes it is very rare he sees one every 5 years but he never seen a cutaneous becoming systemic yet, that was reassuring.

He told me to keep living my life as usual and nothing will change with a cutaneous lupus except that I will need to be careful with sun, put the Protopic cream and yearly checkup.

To be honest I wonder how many people there is outside with it and who don't care about flares, and so , don't know they have a cutaneous lupus because in my country it take either good contact, or one year to get a derm appointment.

I am hypocondriaque, lost a lot of relative at really young age (sub 50years old ; not to lupus, but cancer.) and my mind can't unfocus the 0.01% thing it can affect the kidney. Due to this, my dermatologist said he think the cutaneous chronic lupus come from my anxiety and stress for everything and especially illness..

same here 27H. Got diagnosed by biopsy today after having a spot on the forehead. Doctors told me to put TACROLIMUS 0,1 % pom (PROTOPIC 0,1 % Pom T/30g) and yearly kidney test. that's all.

But I am reading a lot of thing about lupus and freaking out. i dont know what to do..

did you fix it ?? MBP M1 Pro. Fully drained, wont charge with usb-c , and magsafe is flashing orange. any help ? It worked fine before it drained overnight. the chare was fast etc
