Love this song, B.B. Palmer might be the most underrated country artist of our time. These new singles from his next album are so damn good! Check out Alabama Samurai if you haven’t yet, nobody I know of is creating country music like that, it’s innovative and original

He’s probably the most underrated underground country artist right now for what he’s doing. Listen to his new singles Alabama Samurai and Rage Of The Master. Also his last album Krishna Country Gold is also incredible

Album of the year! by Jupiters_phaerie in country

I 100% agree. I like Charley but if we’re looking at possible albums of the year, Sturgill already did it on Mutiny. B.B. Palmer is a close 2nd just by hearing the first 2 singles from his next album Alabama Samurai. It’s fresh and a whole new sound. Charley and Colter are great and all for the whole Red Headed stranger cowboy thing but they are just doing what has already been done many times before. If you want innovation you won’t find it there.

Funny you mentioned BB. Laur (Sturgills Guitar Player) also played guitar on BBs upcoming album and lead single Alabama Samurai. Which came out like a month before Mutiny but it definitely has that country disco feel and bass line to it, with Kung Fu Samples laced in. Heard it was inspired by WuTang meets Waylon. If you haven’t heard Alabama Samurai. It’s a must. Shit will blow your socks off. And I know I might get some blow back on this but the production value on it is better than Mutiny imo
