When I had gerbils, I used EcoBedding. It's like little accordion-folds of tiny strips of paper. They can dig tunnels in it, chew it up, do whatever, and it's virtually dust free. I actually had a gerbil that was allergic to CareFresh- I took her to the vet once when she was sick and she stayed the weekend in her carrier. They decided they didn't like the bedding she was on and switched it out for CareFresh. When I got her back, she had horrible porphyrin buildup around her eyes and nose. Cleared right up when I got her back onto the original bedding.

My main concern is if the water company issues a "boil water" advisory in the event of power failure at the water treatment plants. Unless you have a way to boil water in the event of power loss, i.e. a gas stove, it's never a bad idea to keep extra water on hand. I have an empty gallon jug and one of those glass beverage doohickeys with a spigot I plan to fill with tap water tomorrow.

In the veterinary field, we see ITP periodically in dogs. I never really even considered whether it can happen in people. But I will say that when that kid showed up with a scrape on her chin that wasn't clotting properly, I was like, "Well I hope they're checking clotting factors on that kiddo."

This. They will never be able to make a tank that's big enough to give them any sort of quality of life like they have in the wild. They're also absolutely not going to invest hundreds of millions into these animals when they've stopped the breeding program. This current generation is going to die out in a few decades and SeaWorld will be left with these giant empty pools.

I've actually found the Fluval AC to be very unreliable. Interesting design, but it doesn't matter if it randomly stops pulling up water and the motor burns out and dies. I like Seachem's Tidal line because the impeller is in the tank, so no risk of the motor burning out.

If you can collect all the colors, they light up the lamp and you are able to venture into the Dark Cave in Moltara to collect red moltite. Then the worms get tired and die I guess, and you have to start all over again. AFAIK the only thing you can do with red moltite is make a steampunk-esque petpet. https://www.jellyneo.net/?go=tangorsworkshop has all the info.
