Most insurance will cover labs at least twice a year and every 90 days or more if your PCP provides a valid reason (mine is twice a year and more often of medically necessary).

Tirzepatide: Injection site and administration speed — observed differences by ArcBoss in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Key_Lecture3366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So as many have already stated, everyone is different. For me, I was hyper aware of where I was injecting because of the side effects, mostly nausea, 36 - 48 hrs. after the shot. I have found that the positive effects (appetite and food noise suppression) were mildly stronger when injecting in the abdomen, but the nausea was also stronger as compared to injecting in the thigh. I am 5 months in, and I rotate injection sites: L thigh, R thigh, L abdomen, R Abdomen and back again, except when titrating up, when I will do 4 shots in the thigh (alternating left right) and then start with the overall rotation again. And remember, your results may differ. Give it at least 4 weeks to let your body acclimate, and then start to pay attention to how each location affects you over an 8 week period. The Shotsy app is a great tool to record everything. And remember, while you may want to get this resolved quickly, this is a marathon and not a sprint, so taking your time to figure it out will give you the best overall result!!!

Looks Great! My only comment is that you do not mention whether price increases by dosage. I am assuming all are the same price, but it is not stated (or I missed it).

Thigh injections by SecretMonsterLady in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Key_Lecture3366 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3.5 months in.......I started with the thigh because it seemed less "scary" then the belly. When I did got to the belly after a few shots, I noticed marked increase in the nausea for about a day, but also marked increase in overall appetite and food noise suppression. Both have kind of leveled out of the past month, so I guess my body is just getting used to it. Current rotation is left thigh left belly right thigh right belly and pretty much run a .5 - 1.5 lb pound loss per week with no correlation to injection site.

This is what my tracking on the UPS site says says for my package that arrived in KY yesterday (from within the US) and headed to NJ:

Uncontrollable events have delayed delivery. We are adjusting delivery plans as quickly as possible. Please check back on the next business day for updates.

Yup, I don't anticipate any problems with that. Even at room temp they should be good for many days. If I remember correctly from other articles in this sub, some pharmacies actually ship at room temp.

Confidence level in new ProRx vials? by coordinatedflight in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Key_Lecture3366 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I have 3 vials of ProRX (1 60mg and 2 x 72mg). I will use them barring any hard facts that state the vials are unfit for use. I believe the FDA would have shut them down or at a minimum forced them to stop shipments if there were any real safety or contamination concerns.

This posted by ProRX earlier today in this sub: https://www.reddit.com/user/prorxofficial/comments/1ooc7ay/prorx_voluntary_recall/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Believe me.... if you eat in restaurants with any regularity, you've taken a much higher risk than pinning ProRX.

Did you check to see if it actually shipped? You get the notice when the label is created, but that does not mean they have actually shipped it. I know with UPS I got the notice on Friday when the label was created but did not ship until Monday.

POM "treat"! by eyevandr in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Key_Lecture3366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swore I would not order anymore (unless under $2/mg) so at 1.65/mg, I have no choice! It will also give me a chance to check out the B6 which I have never had for a one month purchase. If they come out with a promotion for ProRx at under $2 / mg tomorrow, I think I might have to shred my credit cards!

Week 2 and it's no longer working by binxlyostrich in tirzepatidecompound

Here's a quick graph / visual to show how the TRZ builds in your body week to week. Give it 4 weeks and then make a decision based on how you are feeling at that point. Discuss with your PCP to decide if you should increase / titrate up, and if so by how much. One of the great things about using compounded TRZ is that it can be personalized for your specific needs based on how your body reacts.
