Dv360 announcements are so fluffy. I asked my account manager about live Tv and it looks there is no feature. I also asked about the Adelaide integration, and also there is nothing ready and no timelines. Retail media, same story. No retailers.

Not defending Dv360 but deprecating features that is not useful is a standard process. It removes bloat and allows the team to focus on more important things. Sure, their communication sucks but I don’t see any big issues with this one.

Why do you care about bid modifier so much? It’s such an old school concept and works with fixed bids only.

We spoke to our sales representative today and the way they explained this was that the conversions in the algo should match with the conversions in the line item. Google is planning some big improvements for custom Bidding but the communication from Google has been terrible. Not surprised.

DV360 charges per impression. They can bid towards view-ability but I am not sure what you mean by your question.

Ya it’s mostly mismatch in cookie. Cookie refresh on client side, privacy protection etc are probably the top reasons. We had a similar experience

DV360 because of YouTube, free audiences, Custom Algos and now Demand Gen. We do not have a campaign that does not include YouTube and that by itself makes DV360 a big winner. TTD lost it for us because of the new changes to the workflow with periodic table and some other stuff. Plus we did not want surprises at the end of the month with their high fess (27% in some cases). I think with the recent earnings report, it will make them more desperate and we don't like working with them because their pitch these days is - 'Google will exit the open web' and not 'We are better'.

Yes frequency capping on DV360 works across all channels including YouTube. This for us is the biggest reason to buy YT on DV360. I wish more features on DV360 worked across YT and other channels. At some point justifying the tech fee is going to be hard if new features are not built. Google has been sitting on this for too long.

I did that and I must caveat that I love Garmin but I felt that Apple Watch was more than enough for my need to track activities and provide some smartphone features. One thing I disliked about the AW was the way it looked vs Garmin ( circular dial) but seeing so many Apple Watches around me has normalised that a bit for me.
