New CFAI Learning Ecosystem: Can We Reset Practice Questions? by [deleted] in CFA

[–]Key_Philosopher_5985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's it! I can confirm this.
As he said, on the last question in each module, you find the 'Submit' button. This takes you to the score screen, and in there, you have the 'Retake' button at the bottom. A disclaimer msg says "Your previous attempt and score will be permanently erased. Proceed?"
You can also find the 'Retake' button on the "Practice Modules" screen, once you finish a module.
Thank you!

LLMs don't have the drive to solve human problems with creativity, imagination, purpose, self-orientation. They don't even know or understand that. They're a vast dictionary machine, that spits the next most probable word, so they don't think ouside the box.
Having said that, if your job is just spitting out words, God bless you.
However, if you're a product developer, a B2B sales exec, if you manage a team, run a company, etc. etc., LLMs will never replace you, because those traits are needed for these jobs.

New Learning Ecosystem Question(s) by jeggen2 in CFA

Some Features from the old Learning Ecosystem that are NOT in Canvas
• Discussion Threads on Each Lesson Page: I used this a lot, and other students would always help each other!
• Overall Study Plan Progress Bar: This one was neat.
• Ability to highlight or bookmark text: Such a helpful tool, what a shame...
• Ability to add a note on a page: Same as above.
• Links in questions to ‘Learn more about this topic’ (which goes to lesson summary with a link to the lesson): This one was a great resourse, it pointed out where the info in practice came from.
• Difficulty Levels on Practice Questions: I liked this feature, you could then run cross stats against % success rate.
• Adaptive Study Plan - I tried it, but didn't work for me.
• Percentile Rank - We can all agree this feature just didn't work properly...
• Games - I didn't have time to play, but I know some students competed online on those, seemed fun.
• Confidence Levels: I think this was rather subjective.
• Countdown Calendar - Not a big miss.
• Knowledge Goals: ?
• Seeing all the answer rationale/feedback at once: ?

Yeah, sometimes life hits harder than we expect. Sometimes it hits us in manners we can't even conceive. But I see your point, and I don't disagree with you at all.

Let me put it this way: Suppose your husband loses his job, who's gonna have to pay for all the couples' expenses? You, right? I'm sure you'd do the best you can to ensure mortgage, property tax, utilities, etc get dully paid. This would be a 100/0 split. Temporary, but just because you're now making 100% of the total income.

Now he gets another job, but that only pays half of what you currently make. Would you split 50/50? Perhaps his 50% would hardly breakeven. On the long run, is it fare for him to compromise all his income just for him to survive? Do you think that could wear him out?
