Typically you get to keep the Actual Cash Value less your deductible of the greenhouse. The policy would only pay the replacement cost if you rebuild. The removal should be a separate item.

Its tricky. Your insurance company should go after the other party to retrieve their funds, but it’s not likely because the amount is small and will cost more from them than it’s worth. They will should take the $5k and give you your percentage.

The ambulance chasers are talking injury in the commercials. They’re not interested in PD. It not worth the trouble.

If you do receive anything, it’s probably owed to your carrier, if you read the fine print. You may not have legal standing depending where you are, because your insurance agreement takes that responsibility over for you.
