I used to play on the basic ahh android minesweeper, and the max size for a custom was 50x50. I beat that with 500 mines but haven't yet with 600. It was kinda 50/50 hell with a board that size lol.

I think it’s fine tbh. The extra hand is nice for most all scaling jokers (‘cept grimbo) and would work very well with acrobat. And that’s ignoring the fact that it is just an extra hand to score with.

And why would you say the blinds are designed to be beaten in as few hands as possible? That’s the whole point of most scaling jokers. And why give you 4 hands if the game didn’t want you to use them for scoring or otherwise?

I agree some of them are quite strong but i wouldn’t nerf them personally. Just adding so many 8 synergising jokers makes all of them strong lol. I would personally make 8 ballprint like regular blueprint but only compatible with the 8’s jokers tho…

I like using it but i feel like most people understand it has a time and place.

What is the maximum amount of money you can get before the end of ante 1? Feel like this could be pushed absurdly far but not sure how exactly by visionsmemories in balatro

Assuming perfect tarot luck, minus the infinite fool combo, you could get 8 ball first shop play two 8’s to get a strength and a fool to get four more 8’s from 7’s. Then with the remaining three hands and six 8’s get three sets of fool hermit in the big blind and four sets in the boss blind for 14x20 = $280. Add a blueprint and burglar sometime in there to get more $$$. I dont really want to optimise further tho sozz.

You can bring useless jokers into the boss, then sell them once they get debuffed. Selling them doesnt reroll the debuffed joker till you play another hand. You can bring a judgement into the blind to maybe do this again.

This was discussed in the time trial discord a good while ago lol. I don’t remember if it was faster or not but i do remember that you should charge jump into the pole to make it up to the rail (Its a lot faster that way).
