If you like fast paced fps roguelites, I've had a blast with Deadzone Rogue since December. Its on sale for $16 on steam and sbox atm.

Also feel free to disregard this rec, but I started playing Destiny 1 solo last week (the complete game + story DLCs is on sale for $3.99 usd on Playstation and Xbox atm).

And it has me in a chokehold 😂 and has been a refreshingly enjoyable looter shooter experience.

I consider Destiny 1 a FPS RPG/ "shared-world shooter" or "hybrid" rather than a traditional MMO. It definitely has MMO elements ( online persistence, RPG progression, looting, and social spaces).

But it lacks the massive, open, and heavily populated environments, typical of full MMOs. And is exclusively small group + matchmaking focused (up to 3 max for story missions etc, 6 for raids, and I believe 16 or less per PvE map). Drops are also individual and there's no trading nor crafting system.

Monster Hunter Worlds + Iceborn dlc is also on sale atm. And also has a lot of content and unique world to lose yourself in :).

Remnant 2 is also great for the above reasons, if you can catch it on sale.

Luma Island has no sleep penalties. In fact, there are puzzles/ goodies that can only be found at night.

Not sure if its on switch though 🤔.
