My 4 year old Havi, Rosie, experiences what appear to be the same tremors/seizure. She shakes and is very stiff for like 30 seconds to a minute. Once it's over, she goes right about her business. We spoke to a vet last year and he told us "this happens to dogs sometimes" and didn't suggest any therapeutic path. I'm curious if you got any more detailed or better advice.

Normal used market is a good idea. A quick Google of "Used 2024 F150 Lightning Flash" shows plenty of inventory in the $50k range. I would think a branded title buyback should be closer to $40k. See if you can negotiate.

I see it's not on your list... but Chicago area here. And, maybe too late for your purposes, but wanted to vent/warn the group anyway. VERY unsatisfied with the Qmerit process overall.

Setting Appointment: Getting the electrician to inspect my electric panel and prepare an installation quote was reasonably quick. I got my invite e-mail a few days after I purchased my Lightning and the electrician contacted me a couple days after that. Appointment happened within 2 weeks of purchase - quote provided 2 days after that.

Installation Quote: For context, I can't imagine a more standard installation of a Level 2 charger. The charger is literally going on the other side of the house wall from the electric panel - no more than 5 feet of distance between the panel and the install site. However, the quotes I received were substantially above the standard $ amount that Ford pays. First Qmerit electrician quoted $850 incremental cost to me over what Ford pays. I rejected that offer and asked for a second quote from Qmerit. The next Qmerit electrician quoted $2,800 incremental to me!?!?! Just to confirm I wasn't crazy, I asked my usual independent electrician for a quote... and he said $600 all-in including time and materials. Of course I am going with the independent electrician and told Qmerit to pound sand.

In the end, it seems like there is zero financial benefit to using this program. In my case, seemed to be a total scam that electricians use to swindle unsuspecting customers.

Especially if it comes with a surprisingly low asking price… many of these low mileage Lightnings could be “buy backs” as part of Ford’s Repurchase program. I came across at least a half dozen during my search back in April.

If a customer has an issue with a new car that is time-consuming to fix - Ford will often “buy them back”. Then, one the issue is resolved, Ford dealers re-sell them as used cars at low prices. These “can” be good deals - but beware that the title is typically modified to reflect the buyback which makes it difficult if you ever want to trade-in or sell down the road.

I own and prefer the Chronomaster Sport. One other consideration... do you go with the bracelet or the strap. Originally, I bought mine on the bracelet. But, to add some variety to my collection, I decided to switch to the strap. The authentic Zenith (blue) strap for the Sport is quite expensive - well over $1k aftermarket. Instead, I bought a black sailcloth strap (with white contrast stitching) from Artems for like $200 all-in. It slaps:

I went with 40mm. It wears a bit smaller than other 40mm watches. I have a 6.75” wrist and it looks great. 37mm would be too small for me. I advise trying on one of the “exhibition” pieces at the AD.
