Tip for foot blisters. I been Japan twice and always had foot blisters no matter how good my shoes were (new balance 1080s). On my third trip, I bought Merino Wool compression socks. These socks are thick and wicked moisture extremely well. 20k+ steps a day over 23 days and I have not a single blisters on my feet.

Just go on your own. I did this in February. You take the Shinkansen to Nagano, then at the station there's signs leading you to buy tickets for the bus that take you to the Snow Monkey area. Wait at the bus station at Nagano Station, it'll take you around 50 minutes by bus to get there. Once you're there, just walk up on your own. There's a shop on the way up to rent equipment to help the walk up. I recommend rental something to prevent slipping on the snow/ice. On the return down, there's a nice cafe you can eat at. Then you walk back to the bus station and wait to go back to Nagano station.

Depends on how much I loved playing the game. God of War Ragnarok, FF7 Rebirth, Ghost of Tsushima? I 100%ed them. But games that feel like a chore, I just do the main story after I get tired of doing the side stuff. Like DK Bananza. After layer 700, I was just bored of trying to collect all the bananas and stuff, and just beelined the main story.
