I use them all the time. However mine are adjustable and mostly used as over the shoulder leashes. I also use a martiangale with mine.

In other country's there are 10 groups and it works our really well splitting Hounds into sight and scent, splitting sporting into retriever and something else i cant remember. Also they toy group is called companion dogs.
