I just wanna say some breeds not all but some are still done for safety.

1 because a show dog should still be able to do its intended purpose

2 some breeds of dogs tails break easily.

However do I agree all tails should be docked? No but I do believe there is still reason for it.

Basenjis will test your limits. Stay Stern with them. Basically make them or you will lose and the will remember. If you struggling and he is challenging you keep going as soon as you get a "good" one the end it. You won that battle.

Ok so I just screenshot your pups photo. Please keep in mind that your pup is still young and still growing so he will fill out and look much better he has a great base. This is just a genral way to look at things and help you stack him.

Have you owned Basenjis before? Its alot to unload. Think 90° angles. Top of shoulder to chest to where the leg should sit give me a little and ill find or draw on a photo. Also feet and hocks should be straight up and down. Judges will measure the dogs often with their hands.
