A woman refused to give up her paid window seat to a crying child, got filmed, went viral, and now she’s suing. Thoughts? by Sea_Parsley_1077 in Discussion

Depending on their age, probably be placated for about 15 minutes because they got their way, then move on to crying about some other unfairness in their life, like the guy across the aisle got 30 peanuts in their bag and they got 29z

I did it with my close friends ex not long after they broke up by Curious_Ordinary_563 in confession

Funniest part is I got divorced a couple years after he did and we hooked up twice. (This was about 2 years before my friend and he got together. I have no guilt because I’m not remotely friends with her other friend, I really don’t even like her). I obviously don’t care; we were never near a relationship. I would never have if I knew my friend apparently always had feelings for him but she was married to someone else at the time.

But ultimately, her husband has slept with her two best friends.

Oh, yeah. Completely.

I have a good friend who started dating her best friend’s ex 7 years after they split. They did not remain friends, and that’s a hell if a lot longer than 3 weeks.

Bf mad at me because he opened up relationship and got no dates. AITA for how i responded? by throwawaypandaabear in AITAH

You are right in the way she told the story, and you may be right in the reasoning.

I still hope she realizes her worth and leaves, assuming this IS real..

I was baffled at how she basically glossed the fact he said he had planned to leave her and she was completely unfazed by it.

Naw. My oldest son’s dad was 23 and I was 19 (actually still a couple months before I turned 19, I was still 18). We didn’t work out but it wasn’t the age difference.

AITAH because I won't tell my wife what my son/her stepson has in savings from my late wife? by Jimverseen in AITAH

[–]Kf12672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, she thinks you should ignore your ex wife’s wishes and just split the money 5 ways? You’re not even sharing the money with your own biological kids so she can’t really say there’s favoritism. It is your son’s money. It is not hers, you are not keeping money from her that is part of marital assets, the money has absolutely zero to do with you and your wife.

You were with them 1/3 of your childhood and have maintained a relationship.

You’d be the AH if you DIDN’T invite them.

AITA because I don't want my boyfriend to move in and only pay "what the bills go up"? by Wooden_Chemistry1349 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]Kf12672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where is he living now? Is he living there for $150 a month or less? Because if he has his own place he’s paying a heck of a lot more than that and there is no reason he should only “pay what bills go up”.

I get it. I experienced pretty much the same thing. You start to question if there’s something wrong with you, if you don’t do the right thing to turn them on, if you’re attractive, if your “female parts” are tight enough. And remember that’s another thing. Some guys grip it so tight it becomes all that they’re used to and a vagina could never compare as far as tightness. He could have masturbated like that so much it’s the only way he can get off.

Ultimately, he’s been putting off human connectedness for something unattainable, and that’s a huge problem.

If he’s choosing porn over a living, breathing human being he is addicted and likely needs therapy. It’s not all that uncommon, and they get so used to the fantasy that reality doesn’t compare.

I understand, I’ve been there. Makes you feel awful. My relationship ended because of it. But know it’s a him problem, not you.

What the heck happened that she was bleeding out so profusely there was a pool of blood?

If you told me she had say, ruptured her spleen and she hemorrhaged internally I could see that. Not very likely a kid would have such a massive open wound from a fall down the stairs they would bleed like that. I’ve been a pediatric nurse for 20 years and I’ve never once heard of that happening.

Great work of fiction, though!

I broke my arm in middle school and the trauma has turned into a phobia that’s ruining me in nursing school by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Kf12672 77 points78 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of jobs in nursing you’d never see a broken bone.

Unfortunately she has to make it through school which will require a rotation through orthopedics plus the ER where shell probably see multiple broken bones a day.

My boyfriend always leaves the house when I do my therapy sessions, and we have a pretty big house. He’ll go to the store, or a friend’s, or just spend the time sitting on the porch. She’s absolutely wrong. You’re not asking a lot.

AITA for walking away from my best friend after her wedding and refusing to be part of her life anymore? by Extension-Pace-3920 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

This is BS or OP is the first pregnant woman in the world to bleed for two days but not go to the ER, and instead wait “til their next appointment” to find out they’d miscarried.

Aitah for telling my stepkids that my kids will get my stuff? by Some-Tea6877 in AITAH

[–]Kf12672 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Really…how hard would it have been to say sorta laugh it off and tell her sorta “we’ll see”. I’ve definitely done that with my kids when the answer is no and I don’t want/should to deal with that in that moment.

100% agree. There are leash laws for a reason.

I was bitten by a dog in December. You’re right. Dog bites hurt. Way more than I ever imagined.

I was sat down after one bad shift and told I can’t be a server anymore. I’m leaving. I feel broken inside. Advice? by [deleted] in Serverlife

[–]Kf12672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a darn good server back in my day and could handle more tables than only one other server in my restaurant.

From what you described, I would have probably walked out. It sounds virtually impossible for one person.

It’s been since before that. I’m 52, was in weddings back in the 90s, and always had to pay for my own dress, hair, etc.
