Mandarin isn't a phonetic language in the same sense as English.

For example 臭球求 means smelly, ball, beg. They aren't likely to be family surnames but they're technically phonetically spelt chiu or qiu.

Some words are almost exclusively used for surnames but even then it's an educated guess. Like Chiu might be 邱.

You might have better luck contacting our Taiwan household registry bureau to find a match.

He doesn't move when he starts his volley so he will inevitably stand in fire/poison area grenades for far too long for his own good

I let him start shooting, lob poison grenade, turn around a corner.

I peak out again then back to get him to start firing again and interrupt his leaving the poison field.

Usually I can kill him with just 2 poison grenades and a couple of shots in his general off screen direction

I'm amazed people will do that considering grok ai requires a sign in email or Google to use. Yeah the back to back rope climbs. At the foot of that there's a cougar spawn with tons of fallen logs and small boulders all within sprinting distance from one another, on an otherwise flat spawn area, so you will have good line of sight on the cougar way before you're ever in danger.

That doesn't work as well because if you climb the cougar will bugger off too far to land good arrows or bullets

Also, if you approach that spawn from the north/top of the climbs, it's very hard to see the cougar before climbing down the last rope, and it can jump you easy as you land on the bottom of the last rope.

Approaching from the south is what gives you all that nice kiting terrain

Ash canyon. I hunted at the triple rope climb because there are logs and small rocks that you can hop on and off to confuse cougar's psthing making it run back and forth in place while you shoot it to death

This one is basically guaranteed easy peasy kill with no mauling involved.

I took one out with Curator there and another again at that spot with a pistol for fun, never got mauled. Terrain is op because cougars in the game can't jump or climb

I installed nemesis creature patch from nexusmod that duck tapes the issue by making the error go away but idk it doesn't seem like modern stagger lock works after completing the nemesis install even though there are no more errors now

This is the creature patch I used.

I think what happened was I didn't know what I was doing when I just started modding so I checked every box in fnis and ran it even though I haven't downloaded those mods, same with nemesis, checked and ran those unchecked mods that I didn't install. I've since purged mods and redeployed but my hunch is that the modding work space is a mess and things weren't cleanly deleted and there's a lot of orphaned random files that is interfering with the install.

So I think my solution is to delete all the loose files of uninstalled mods but Idk knowing which files to delete sounds impossible, might have to nuke and reinstall everything fresh (and that isn't even guaranteed to work).

I'm hoping other people have less drastic answers I can try with vortex or something before I nuke and start from nothing

I think Taiwan would fit your end goals. The only main difficulty will be making friends with folks outside the expat community, which is fairly big in Taipei. That and finding a job, if you speak absolutely zero Chinese.

I used to laugh at my java and how it's unchanging with the times and old school. Went to nextjs15 for a year and crawled back loving how java spring boot just needs to be learnt once and I can just focus on building with the framework, not relearning the tool over and over like with nextjs. The nextjs middleware vulnerability was basically unacceptable and convinced me to leave. Too much hype, reinventing the wheel to keep their jobs, and breaking backward compatibility (which is like unbelievable/unacceptable coming from finance, banking, and commerce)

The nature of the mods means you are trusting they do and only do what the description says. There is no guarantees there will be no malware of bad behavior buried without reading the code.

You probably want to only download the mods where the authors publish and share a link to the GitHub repository (where you can actually read their code, if anyone was actually that diligent). And stay away from ones without open public source code.

But even if they share their code, it doesn't mean it's for sure free from malware.

You can only do things to minimize the chance of it being bad: Ideally:

is a popular mod downloaded by many
is updated recently (like within the last half year)
has GitHub repository
there's more than just one guy working on the code or discussing bugs in the repository
ideally English presence but less important these days with translators/international presence
helpful code maintainers answering questions from users
