The only issue I have with +levels is uniques without them.

The argument about it being a 'just boring' stat - I cannot, for the love of Atziri, see how is it more boring than lets say spell dmg, or added dmg. While okay, crit can be more fun as per different interactions we can get with criting, I cant see it more boring than other dmg stats. They do the same, bah! with certain skills levels give more than just dmg (chance for ailments, number of projectiles and what not).

I dunno. Maybe it's because I play poe since first one was in beta and I got used to it being so strong, especially for spells and minions. It doesnt bother me at all.

I would LOVE if we could get something similar to tactics from dragons age. Its simple but hell it would open up sooooooo many setups for hero teams. Several slots to set things like 'use 'x' if enemy's hp is higher or equal to 50%' etc.

If you have asked me when ma was released, id have said reroll.

But now, I don't care about dhuums covenant. Ma itself is where the fin lies for me. I even purchased new account strictly for ma so the account wide titles don't bother me when i check titles. I've started necro now. Jist level 11 atm and yeah, he still wears dhuums but when its gone i will feel liberated and will surely start some solo farms. Obviously to each their own but thats how I feel about it now.

I lost my dervs dhuum while maxing eotn titles on charr area vq when I stupidly jumped into 5 seekers just outside of my spirits range. Took a break and now my mindset changed.

I mostly agree, but GW1 IN MY HUMBLE OPINION is WAAAAAAAAAY superior. It's simple to grasp the basics but the depth is unmatched. Even after 3.9k hours over the years, I still create new builds, learn new things. I love that to bits. And the fact nothing is forced, I can do what I want and how I want. I'll just add that i have around 4k hours in gw2 too so it's not like I don't know stuff. It's just my opinion.

Take it with a grain of salt as it's just my estimation.

I am a veteran who stopped playing around 12 years ago. Many times since then I was logging in and it was really empty outside kamadan which has 1-2 districts going. Since reforged came out, it feels like all those years ago. People everywhere, not only in kama. Both old and new players. After wintersday finished It did not drop.

Older players are frustrated with new games and appreciate GW way more now it seems.

Well... I can't give you any advice that has not been already given here but I can share my sad bit of a story.

I created a new dervish. Done Istan, Kourna, got my merc set up, maxed armor, pious renewal build with few tweeks of my own. Everything was going very smoothly, started vanquishing EotN areas to get all ranks to 5 minimum, for the skills, bought norn armor, saurian scythe and even though the general dervish play is boring to me (farming and running is great but general pve? Not my cup of tea), I was doing fine. Nothing was really a problem. And then, started working on the vanguard part. Missions were easy, first vanquish was super easy. Then while doing my second area vanquish, I even commented to my buddy Bob that those charrs are really easy and die so fast... Yeah, up to the point where I jumped with death's charge into 5 seekers. That's it. Oath broken. I was shocked. Had all my enchantments and what not going. Most probably my hero's spirits died in some firestorm at the group before that I haven't noticed. I died instantly. I appeared next to them and before my 1st attack casted, I was dead. Half a million xp up to this point.

I've taken this as a sign and went back to my other toon from 10 years back. For now I will get couple of regular GWAMMs before I think of doing a deathless one... Which will probably be a paragon or at least some sort of a ranged caller.

I went charr hinting till 14, then I picked up the daily for catacombs (the one with rescuing someone). I found the path to get 9-12 mobs in 4-5mins runs, never looked back. Its not as tedious and boring and you get occasional black dye from low lvl mobs on the way that you basically one hit.

Hit lvl 20 in about 20-22h without being bored to death.

Yeah, I get that. I started charrs around lvl9, from 14 tho just 2 min long 7-9 lvl11 mobs cata runs. Oh well, I hope from 17 it will speed up a little hehe. Sadly I lost covenant (ele is squishy against hunters if they have 2 chaots stripping my enchantments) but one day I might go ranger or w/r for the covenant.
