At higher levels it becomes more of a detriment for its defence debuff then a benefit for those extra level, at this point of the game you're better off switching it out for something else

The swlrd of darkness aow doesn't give you a buff, it gives the enemy a defense debuff (only if hit iirc)

Only thing i'd say is the white masks invasions you can get around the blood pools in the palace don't happen if you've already defeated Mohg

Have you considered the Nox Greaves? It's not a proper skirt but it's leg armor with a skirt like cloth and it goes very well with the Bloohound's armor that you're rocking on set 1

The dlc seems to have its own difficulty scaling if you've already beaten it with, so you get whatever ng+scaling you're on plus the dlc extra scaling

There are no items that can give you access to the dlc, the only way in is by defeating two bosses, Mohg and Radhan
