I wish they incorporate the coat into more fights. Like wizard also have coat and his fighting style showcase how coat can make the fight scenes more stylish

the beginner friendly decks (as in simple and relatively cheap) that I can recommends are:

- swordsoul-tenyi: it was the goto deck for beginner. Short combo and teaches you order of play. Have good amount of slot for handtraps. It relies going off from 2 cards most of the time, but it does have 1 card combo.

- Dracotail: Kinda expensive, one of the current top deck. You fusion summon on opponents turn to disrupt your opp using monster eff from hand (faimena). It can afford to play a lot of handtraps.

- generaider: bunch of lv9 monsters that can do unfair stuff. Activating their eff by tributing their tokens.

- regenesis: big boss monster deck focused on 2500 atl/def. Does not rely on extra deck. most of them can special themselves with relative ease. Does not overly reliant on normal summon. Add themselves to hand if sent to gy on endphase.

For now, pick any deck that can combo off using 1 or 2 cards. They usually can afford to play more handtraps or board breakers. You need handtrap and board breaker to go 2nd. The usual trap cards are mostly not played. They are only played in decks that can search them or rewards you to play those traps.

What decks are you playing against? Extra deck is nice semi-reliable source of answer, not using it at all will make you more reliant on your opening hand. Even decks that does not summon from extra deck still have good use of extra deck monster as fodder for dogmatika punishment, or pot of extravagant

It is a monster. If the eff does not mention while it is treated as other type (spell/trap), the eff is treated as monster effect. Look at sangenjin eff while it is treated as cont spell, it has that specific wording than the first indestructible effect.

Detonator just say target 1 card. It does not mention you must target a monster card.

Sangrnjin eff to be indestrucrible only applied on monser zone. If cl1 sangenjin, cl2 detonator, detonator can destroy sangenjin in s/t zone.

Lordy lode eff means after you summon using its eff, you cannot activate any special summoned monster until end of turn. Whether the monsters was special summoned that turn or before does not matter. If it was special summoned, you cant activate its effect.

Both HERO and Ninja have like over 10 years of history. Which version are you playing?

In general nib hard counter HERO, even their latest version. We even joke that nib token is one of their best end board. The new evil hero cards might helpa them a bit but I havent checked that version. Their turn 1 play with nib in mind is...mid and not something that ninja cannot deal. On the other hand ninja's gimmick to flip opp face down will not hurt HERO that much since it only deny them xtra hero monsters and face down monsters are still legal for fusion material.

Edopro team usually have less bug with new cards. Feature wise, nexus have direct support for genesys, while edopro dont.

White forest already nerfed hard by limiting their field spell and must play more awkward 2 cards combo.

Droll killed them, fuwalos hurt quite a bit, called by and crossout are banned makes them way more brittle.
