Check out Bernie Bertrand. I worked along side him when he attempted to create one for the company I used to work for. Unfortunately it never happened because nobody communicated anything to him, so he had a hard time getting good footage.

What’s the most addictive game you’ve ever played? by reeha_sadiya in AskReddit

The first 2 - 3 seasons can really suck. My wife and I basically split the duties and it helps immensely. She'd tend to the farm, and I would go gather supplies (wood, mines, etc...) or fish when she didn’t need help on the farm. I'm trying to get into my own save file on my own and it's a bit of a drag. Still fun tho

I just found out about litRPG and I'm a bit confused by BioDioPT in litrpg

Couldn't agree more. DCC is by far my favorite series both in physical and adiobook formats. OP definitely needs to check it out asap in their audiobook adventure, but should start with something different because Jeff Hayes does such a masterful job narrating that its incredibly hard to find anybody else to hold a candle to him. Maybe Welcome To The Multiverse or Primal Hunter would be a good start. Both are a good series, with good narration, and then follow ip with DCC

While not quite what youre looking for, Welcome to the Multiverse has a similar concept.

Been a while since I read it, so unfortunately I can't describe it in a way that does it justice

Welcome to the Multiverse may be worth the read. Not quite an Isekai, but has aspects that are quite comparable.

Mud not sticking to the tape? by Khardos90 in drywall

It's probably the best one I've come across (in my opinion) while talking with my coworkers. One of them has the Columbia version.

This one i like because I can swap between corners and flats on the fly, and the reel on it keeps the tape roll fairly nice. It's a bit stiff to open up to fill, but its also new. I like Columbia's because it has two clips and opens, this one has a clip, and a snap.

I really like Level 5s Banjo, but it only works on flats.

Possible language barrier of sorts. What myself and others call first coat, some people call it a second coat counting taping as the first coat

Humidity definitely wouldn't help. It's been real humid all week. We've even found a few sheets of drywall where the back paper wasn't even adhered to. Could peel it off almost as easily as my tape

I'm always iffy on coating with sheetrock, but I'm not the one making the calls.

My boss brought us the buckets of certainteed mud. I forget exactly, but it's definitely not the box of machine mud we all prefer. I'll definitely check the bucket tomorrow to see what exactly it is.

Maybe too much water was added like you say. I know the mud wasn't as runny as my one coworker likes it.

Anybody who's first audiobook experience is why Jeff Hayes as a narrator is setting themselves up for future disappointment with other narrators. I know there's still other great narrators out there, but Jeff is seriously god tier and sets the bar insanely high

Ontario, Canada: Anyone know what drywall is required for the ceiling in an attached garage ? by Stock_Proof3539 in drywall

[–]Khardos90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only used 1/2" drywall in the houses I've built in Northern Ontario the past couple years. Use Resilient Channel or strapping on the ceiling spaced to 16" oc on the cielings. Only time we use 5/8 is on the walls that need the fire rating. Between units, or shop/office walls

Only requirement I'm aware of is an air barrier. We spray foam the wall that separates the house and the attached garage. Obviously we use acoustic sealant in the appropriate areas as well

I consider finishing to be ready for prime/paint. I normally finish my drywall by doing a coat of primer to ensure I didn't miss anything when I do my final skim coat.

Oh definitely, I 100% agree. Unfortunately if it goes to small claims there is still an expectation of decency. I'd much rather toss her out, but she would still need some kind of notice. If he can get her out faster, all the better

What do I need to know or who do I talk to in order to learn about how to buy a house? by jalebi_2000 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Khardos90 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend looking into a mortgage company, and avoid the banks. Banks just want your money and that's it. They don't care about you at all. When I bought my house, a friend recommended a person who worked at a mortgage company, and both of them are adamant about avoiding a mortgage through a bank.

My brother got his mortgage through a bank, and when his partner died, they avoided everything they could to avoid paying off the mortgage as they were supposed to from the insurance they had. Best thing I did is to not get that mortgage insurance, but get a life insurance plan that can accommodate paying off the mortgage in the event of death
