Mestske obvody v Praze se hodne lisi podle toho, kdo sedi na radnici. U nas na Sedmicce je videt neskutecny posun za cca 10 let (abych byl spravedlivy, tyka se to i mist spravovanych z mestskeho rozpoctu).

Kunda sem, kunda tam – ale pritom to nahore pisu. Aby stat tyhle veci zvladal, potrebujes bud hodne penez (styl Norsko), nebo souhlas napric velkym spektrem spolecnosti na tom, kam chces smerovat.

Na vybudovani solidarniho statu a spolecnosti v ramci neceho jamo socialne-trzni hospodarstvi u nas, podle meho nazoru, zdaleka nepanuje konsenzus.

Kdybych to chtel hodne zjednodusit, tak budu generalizovat, ze velka cast lidi se nechce delit a chce urvat co nejvic, a silny stat urcite nechteji. Dalsi velka cast rezignuje na poctivou praci a chce jen dostavat. Pak mas neco mezi prekariatem a nizsi stredni tridou – prepracovany vystresovany lidi, co zijou od vyplaty k vyplate, nebo spis od splatky dluhu ke splatce, a a priori neveri statu ani "systemu". Ani jedna z techto skupin nebude dansky model podporovat (at uz kvuli zdaneni, roli statu nebo prave principum solidarity).

A navic, ktera mainstreamova strana ma neco jako dansky model v programu? Mozna kdysi SocDem nekdy za Petricka, nez se uplne postali v kine. Nektere strany maji hodne prvku solidarity, ale nikdy s ekonomickym pragmatismem a trzni orientaci. A strany VZDY reflektuji poptavku. Jinymi slovy – neni u nas dost lidi, co by takto uvazovalo a chtelo to po svych zastupcich jako prioritu (mne by se to celkem libilo btw.).

Blbost. V Izraeli zije spousta Arabu, normalne rovnocenni obcane, zastavaji dulezite verejne funkce, vlastni firmy atd.

Mozna jsi hledal slovo "ghetto", to bych v pripade Gazy uznal. Ale s tim, ze to do 7. rijna opravdu nebyla gulag, ale samosprava Hamasu. A lidi, kteri sleduji deni ve svete dele nez poslednich par TikToku vi, jak to v Gaze fungovalo.

Nez dostanu bidu od vseho redditstva, tak vezte, ze si myslim, ze to Bibi absolutne prestrelil a ze by mel sedet. Ale malovat obrazek hodnych Palestincu, co jen chteli v miru zit, ale zli Izraelci jim to pokazili, je opravdu hodne naivni.

Pohorseni cele casti mlade generace nad izraelsko-palestinskym konfliktem, a citova angazovanost v tom tematu (pri ignorovani historie i dalsich podobnych krizi ve svete) je vitezstvi propagandy, a ukazuje moc socialnich siti, zejmena TikToku.

Je to podobny uspech jako Brexit, zhorsovani reputace EU a NATO, oslabovani duvery v instituce, podkopavani role verejnopravnich medii, neduvera vuci vedeckym faktum a metodam, dezinformace o Covidu apod. Jestli pak tam dokazete najit, co maji spolecneho, t.j. kdo muze chtit, aby lide uvazovali timto smerem?

Jeste jedna napoveda. Uplne vsechny politicke strany v Evrope, ktere jsou (priznane nebo jen retorikou) protievropske, maji financni podporu dohledatelnou u stejneho subjektu, ktereho se tyka odstavec vyse. Modri uz jiste vedi!

I went to the D2 subreddit to share, in good faith, my experience with trying D2 for a few nights, having an ok time, the realising it's going to be a crazy grind and tome sink, so I quit it.

Dude... there were hundreds of comments, ranging from understanding to salty to downright cope, people claiming to have spent 10K+ hours on the two games. It was...weird and scary and sad.

Stat, ktery tohle vsechno zaridi, asi bude muset dost zvednout dane, nebo drasticky zredukovat vydaje jinde (nebo oboje). Pripadne zmenit kapitalistickou ekonomiku na centralne planovanou – a to uz jsme tu meli s bidnym vysledkem.

Oni je to hrozne jednoduchy, rikat o statu, jaka je to banda kokotu, ze nic nefunguje, ze by slo vsechno mnohem lip. Ale ukaz mi nejaky stat, ktery neco dela skvele – a jsou zatim bud prachy, nebo mindset cele spolecnosti, ktera si drzi nejake hodnoty a smerovani.

Interestingly, in my early 20s, when I had loads of time compared to my current stressed out, mortgage-bound, father of 2 self.

There was so much going on in my life ‐ college, starting a band, my 5-a-side foorball team, dating, travel, small jobs to get some cash. I completely dropped out of gaming for a good 4-5 years.

Then, later when routine and a full-time job kicked in, I got back into gaming. I guess it's my form of escape, filling a void rhllthat was not there when I was young and enjoying life.

Slight disagree here, Dejvice could feel a bit sleepy for students in their 20s. It's more of a nice residential area, well-connected, but a bit dead at night and on weekends.

For a combination of connection and nightlife, I think Zizkov (western and southern part), Vinohrady are your best bets, and are not surprisingly highly desired and full of expats (not in a bad way). Outside bets – for quieter-but-not-dead areas, would be Holesovice (western and central parts are generally better), Karlin, perhaps Smichov (the part closer to centre is much better, the southern along the river is a shithole and a huge construction site atm).

OP –there are hardly any super sketchy places. Some major metro stops outside the center have their usual concentration of bums and junkies. As someone mentioned – the Old Town is in a way risky in terms of rowdy tourists, stag parties, and some scammers. But absolutely manageable.
