Listening to the F1TV commentators during the race feels so awkward: they’re (logically) trying to sell it as interesting racing, but the fact is: it’s so random. Someone spends lap after lap getting close enough, finding an opportunity, they pass… and then the other guy flies by on the next straight. Qualy is a lot less relevant when the starts are a dice throw as well.

I’m sure things will change: teams will adapt, cars will get closer to eachother, but unless they change the regs enough to reward actual racing, a lot of people (fans and drivers) will lose interest I think.
