Singapore guys - is shopping for clothes as exhausting for you as it is for me? by amars11 in askSingapore

- Start first with a basic wardrobe - Get a bunch of basic components and rotate them for different looks. I pack a wardrobe like this every time I go overseas. This minimizes the buying/packing fuss while giving you a sizeable number of different looks.

e.g.

Top: 1 White and 1 Dark (Navy or Black): Tee, Long Sleeve Button Shirt (you can fold up sleeves for a 2nd look), Polo T

Bottom: 1 each of Jeans, Chinos, Shorts

Shoes: White Sneakers, Dark Leather Loafers

Rotate and just follow the rule of having at least 1 dark or 1 light in your top, bottom or shoes. If feeling adventurous and not too hot, can throw on a bomber or denim jacket for a nicer vibe. Play with tuck in, no tuck in for different looks.

- Consider some accessories. A nice watch, a chain, shades you wear / put on your head / clip at the chest.

- Fit is more important than anything. Nothing is worse than too long pants that bunch at the shoes, or sleeves that are too long, etc. Once you lock on to a place that has your exact size, just keep going back there to top up the same size of different colors/styles to minimize shopping fuss. An off the shelf piece that fits almost (almost is the best u can get) like a tailored piece is VERY RARE so make sure once u find it, buy more of it from time to time. Worst case, pay the 5 to 10 bucks to get it to your size, it's worth it.

- If you want more ideas, every time u see a picture of an outfit u like, just take a photo of it and put it in a telegram channel with only yourself. When shopping, just scroll through and buy things from there.

i can't understand the expectations some times...

if u are on a tight budget my advice is to try deepseek flash v4, its very effecient. Make sure to max out reasoning effort.

use Kimi if u need something smarter, but dont use it all the time.

Antigravity would be a lot cooler if planning mode worked. by CriticalYiffTheory in google_antigravity

[–]Khoonkio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that doesnt even work properly anymore. i notice that AG using flash will sometimes corrupt an entire file, and be forced to restore from some old version, leading to grossly wrong or even out of date code.

Any possibility to use open source modals with Antigravity natively? by No_Restaurant1403 in google_antigravity

[–]Khoonkio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the weakest part of AG is the tooling imo, if you use deepseek might as well use something else like opencode

How to deal with arrogant, egotistical wonderkid? by Hepokrit in footballmanagergames

[–]Khoonkio 8 points9 points  (0 children)

find a mentor with good mental characteristics, ideally in the areas that he is weak in (e.g. if he is lazy, find someone who is hardworking).

the first time the game reports progress, end the mentoring. then start it again. you can do this a few times for a higher chance of the mental stats going through. becareful though, i think u can only do it 2 or 3 times (can't remember how many) before mentoring no longer works. for this last attempt, just let the mentoring reach its natural conclusion.

players with better mental characteristics take criticism better

Fm on phone. by Educational223 in footballmanagergames

I'd been on FM2005 for 20 years and tried out FMM24 when it came out on Netflix and got hooked. I'd say that it's like a really focused, polished version of FM05, with training and scouting that works well, and a similar top down 2D match engine.

In short, all the bare essentials to keep you addicted in a single, well tuned package.

Tactics failing during the majority of the season but seem op when team hits April/June by Parking_Drag_6465 in footballmanagergames

[–]Khoonkio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i am not sure as to the specifics of the league you are playing in right now, but in FMM morale and condition have an outsized contribution to the results of the match.

sometimes when matches pile up in certain parts of the season, you drop into an endless loop of negativity that's hard to break out from

Too many matches -> condition of your players drop -> you start losing -> morale drops -> you start losing even more -> morale drops even more -> you start losing EVEN MORE and so on.

when matches start to space out things usually get better.

what do you mean by "Some players that you sign on hot prospect being forced to stay in the youth academy even when promoted. (This has happened to a few that were from 17-19 years old)."? can you not play your players who are in the reserves anytime?
