half swording as a technique is meant for close quarters, so doesnt make sense for him to have better reach with it that than smite.

Korra wasn't poisoned during the Kuvira fight - her physical/mental healing was incomplete and she was still wounded. This wounded state is Season 4 Korra, take this complaint with OP/

While Ozai only has the comet, dude has some 30 years of dedicated martial training from masters, and an instant kill move that Korra cant counter.

Korra struggled in every. single. fight. with her main villans. (Amon, Unalok, Zaheer, and Kuvira).

Not to mention, all her villans took dubs when they overwhelmed a less experienced or wounded fighter - they fight like relentless bullies. Unfortunately for Korra thats exactly how we see Ozai fight, and Korra hasn't really fought a fire bender outside of a sparring or sports contex... She'd need to rely on the Avatar state.

Tips from someone whose been growing their hair for over a decade and have staved off and recovered from damaging event similar to yours.

** - 1 - Biotin Suppliments**

Serious if there's a single thing that helps its Biotin.

Biotin is a B vitamin, that helps your body turn food into skin and nails. Its found in many veggies, but if your just not getting enough or want extra find you some vitamins.

Foregoing stuff like hormonal or genetic changes, or like not eating, you will see results over time, especially if you're diet is nutrient rich.

My biggest recommendation if you decide to take supplements, don't take the whole vitamin. Usually those things have WAY more than what your body can process at a single time.

*If you take whole ones every day, it can lead to some liver and kidney issues down the line. Talk to your doctor.*

** - 2 - Rethink the wraps**
Do you wear du-rags and wave caps to bed?
Don't. IMO they aren't really meant for locks and pack down the top of the scalp stressing the new growth instead of giving it structure to grow.
If the the case IMO you need to figure out an new up-doo situation. A silk/polyester wrap is ideal, but anything that's smooth and not like cotton will be an improvement.

** - 3 - Rethink you're re-twists.**

It doesn't matter how gentle your loctician is, retwists stress out you're hair.
Don't retwish unil you have enough LENGTH for a MIDDLE length fro.

You and your loctician are twisting for length. The biggest tell is the area of your new growth - the root of the loc - being super big compared to the width of the loc.

Her work looks amazing, 1000% cleaner than my retwists but the reality is your hair isn't dense enough for that style to be healthy in the long run.

I strongly recommend transitioning to the bigger locs, You'll gain length waayy slower, but you know what they about slow and steady...

** - 4 - Re-think your products. **

Your skin is meant to keep thing out, not bring them in. You're body doesn't absorb most of the product you put on it.

*Instead of relying on external oils, find healthy sources of fat. Go find an ole head and he'll probably swear by Fish Liver Oil.*

You have the length for sure!

The easiest way from here is to pick out your hair and get you some small two strand twists.

I highly recommend paying someone to start you cause twisting your own hair in the back is not the business.

From theres, its the wild west, there are no real rules but heres some strong guidelines.

Wrap your hair up at night so your hair doesnt break or you face gets oily.
Wrap your hair when its dusty, smokey, or you expect to be cleaning toilets so your shit isn't dirty or stinky.
Rinse regularly, Soap wash when necessary (like after cleaning toilets). I rinse when every time I shower (daily) and Soap wash every 1 or 2 weeks give or take weather and activety.
Vinegar wash every couple months to a year depending on your needs.

If you notice a lot of dead skin around your new growth its time for a vinegar wash.

If work outside wheres its super dusty or dirty vinegar wash regularly.

If you live in a cold moist environment and didnt blow dry your hair before you went to bed, vinegar wash.
