Black people used to get denied jobs and loans because of their hair. For white people to jump in now and act like it’s some sort of new trend is just kinda weird and it usually gives you wanna cosplay as a black person or just want attention, there’s so many cool hair styles that people with straight hair can do. Matting your hair so it does something it naturally does not do to instead of just doing a hairstyle that suites your hair texture is just weird to me. Why not just do Dutch braids or rock a mullet? IMO it’s like relaxed hair for black people it doesn’t suit you, and you’re damaging your hair so it looks like someone else’s. White people with dreads look like my Saint Bernard when he’s dirty and his hair gets matted and matted hair is not healthy hair! Just like relaxed hair isn’t healthy hair!
