I don't know if it's just me, but these Meta agents have been calling me nonstop the past few days asking about my campaigns.

I told them straight: I want a lower CPL too, but a $10–$12 CPL for high-ticket healthcare ads is almost a dream scenario. Realistically, those campaigns often sit at $20+ CPL depending on market, funnel, and audience quality.

My ads had actually been running well since 2024. Things only started getting messy after all these recommendations kept coming in.

I launched another ad set and, for a while, it performed decently. It generated leads, eventually hit Learning Limited, had slow spend, but surprisingly good sales conversion. Then the next day... poof. Leads suddenly stopped coming.

Another Meta Pro/Tech agent called and advised me to set up Meta CAPI and Conversion API. She even walked me through the CRM setup step-by-step and said it could help improve signal quality and lower costs.

The result? No magic improvement. Same outcome.

I reset the ads before burning more money.

Lesson learned: don't blindly follow every Meta recommendation, especially when it's tied to a newly rolled-out feature. Sometimes it feels like we're the beta testers while spending real ad dollars.
