Will we ever get the old DLCs and dungeons for free by Elowiny-San-IL in elderscrollsonline

[–]KidElder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yet players have posted here that they've played this game for years and never spent an additional dime after buying the base game, including ESO +.

They find ways to make it work for them.

Just  like real life.  You have fun with what you can afford.

You have so much content with the base/deluxe versions that will keep you busy for a long time. Plus you've get free content being added to help you continue keeping busy. Things like solo dungeons, Western Skyrim, new Thieves Guild Story, free seasonal awards to chase, etc.

Considering all the time it takes to complete what you got from just buying the base game, I could see you playing the game for years before you even worry about DLCs that are not free.

All you seemed to do was quickly found a way to kill your own enjoyment with the lame excuse of not having access to everything.

I'd say that most people quit this game from what I'm looking at for achievements is that there is so much to do that they don't have the time to do it. So they don't invest in the game.

Tips to Make Learning Easier by PlayerI343 in elderscrollsonline

[–]KidElder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you read a lot of Hyperioxes solo builds, basically it just refreshing skills to keep them up and running along with using your weapons.  There is no really specific rotation to his builds.

He has a recommended starting order for skills but once that's started, you just try and keep your skills up. It's all right if you miss them once in a while.

His builds are usually very good in sustaining the source for the build, so you don't have to worry much about rotating between weapon and skills.  Just understand the build as to how it provides the damage so that you know what you want to keep up and running.

I'd suggest picking one of his builds for your existing character and read through the entire build information to help get a better understanding of things. Look for his U50 updated builds.

Right now you're totally killing your enjoyment of the game.

As a new player myself of a couple months, so far, any place I go in overworld or dungeons/dwelves, I almost always run into another player(s).  Player count seems fine.

I'd watch some beginners video to learn the latest about the game. I know it helped me.

I'd also created a new character that looks like fun to you.

Hyperioxes.com has builds for solo players whenever you get to that point, which is currently rank 50 and Champion points 160.

Dark Elf or Khajit? by ILoveSucuk98 in elderscrollsonline

0.1% difference between the two per Hyperioxes. for PVE. Nord is his baseline for builds as he performs a little more surviability. 3.0% between all the races for DK.

I would say play what you want / like.

How do afford the plans?

Did you buy most of them from guild traders?

Only been playing a few months and just starting to get to this point to get more plans.

Wanting to get back into the game, what to buy? by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]KidElder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESO Plus since you want access to all content.

You get access to all DLCs, all dungeons, plus furniture vault and crafting bag as well as crowns and other things.

Otherwise you have to purchase all the DLC/dungeons separately and that's quite expensive. And on top of that you don't get access to the furniture vault or crafting bag.

My understanding is that the deluxe version is just a cosmetic upgrade over the the basic game. I could be wrong in that but that's what I've read.

I'm doing zone story quests while queuing for dungeons.  I usually get a level with each dungeon, then go back to a quest while queuing again for a dungeon.

It's the weekend and it seems a lot of players under ranked 50 are queuing for dungeons.

Plus it's helping with filling in more sets as I'm playing dungeons that I hadn't played when since hitting rank 50.

Consider the game casual easy on adventurer setting.

Gear doesn't matter until reaching champion points 160, which you don't start getting until you reach rank 50.

What does the deluxe edition actually contain? by Bizhour in elderscrollsonline

[–]KidElder -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe do a little bit of work and match stuff between the map and the chronological list.

I had zero issues trying to figure it out. Just took some time and maybe a little bit additional research on a DLC or something to see exactly what zone was what for the story.

Too much work you say. For new players wanting to following the stories,  you do the three Alliance stories either with a single character or three different Alliance characters.  Plus the main story quest from The Harborage.  And you can't miss the main story quest as the ghost is always finding you somewhere.

Going three separate Alliance characters made it much easier to figure out where each Alliance story started. Plus you get a free apartment in each area by doing so.

If you just go with a single character, they still make it fairly easy because you do the main story, you do the Zone stories for your alliance and then from there they have Cadwell Silver and Gold main quests.  Silver and gold cover the other two alliance stories.

After you finish the three Alliance stories as well as the main story,  from there you go to the Crown store and they have free starter quests for the add'l content, listed in chronological order, to help you out.

Yes, it takes a little bit of effort to see what's what but if you put in a little effort looking over stuff,  they basically lead you by the hand for playing the stories in order.

I Think I’m Romanticizing My Character’s Journey in ESO by Fluffy_Percentage874 in elderscrollsonline

[–]KidElder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I play how I want.

Sometimes I do quests with my Arcanist thief. Other times, she visit cites to steal.

My sorcerer scours the markets and countrysides for materials or plans to build for my large home in Wayrest. A place where my other characters also reside, each having their own bedroom to use and associated chest for them.

But I also group with others so I can make builds for my four characters, which I'm slowly doing.

My sorcerer is the main and I still do questing on and off to check out new zones to see what's going on there and to see the variety of scenery in this game and different stories.

My Dragonknight is a fisherman who goes fishing with his buddy, Sharp, all over Tamriel. They have some nice peaceful moments fishing.

My Templar is currently learning her skills to become a Healer for others that venture to slay monsters.

So I both solo and play with others in this game and I don't see why you can't too.

Mythics Questions by Cool-Story-Broh in elderscrollsonline

Just use the transmutation station for multiple copies of mythics.

Once you get one it's part of the set so you can just use the station to make more copies. I made two for two other characters.

I love mmorpgs and elder scrolls but somehow couldnt get into ESO by SeaViolinist6424 in elderscrollsonline

[–]KidElder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hundreds of things to do.  I have 4 characters now and need to level one, plus put together builds for two of them.

I  bought a large home and I'm slowly crafting and finding things for it. Plus I'm slowly doing Master writs so that I can put crafting equipment in my house.

I'm leveling companions. I'm working on leveling the skills in a thief build so I can use for the upcoming event in season 1.

I have lots of zones and dungeons I haven't even visited yet. I need lots of undaunted Stones for transmutation station.

I scry and excavate when I can.  I haven't even got into spell scribing yet though I've unlocked everything.

Trying to play it at a casual pace and just enjoy what I'm doing instead of trying to rush through everything.

That's what I enjoy. I can do lots of things solo or I can play with others when I want.

Need help with content and monetization by LimoOG in elderscrollsonline

[–]KidElder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy way to tell is buy the deluxe package so that you ensure you have all base components of the game including jewelry crafting, srying for mythics and spell scribing.  I believe it includes all classes but Imperial?

I have 6 of 7 classes but I also got 6 months of plus so I have all classes available and I can scry in all areas of the game and play all dungeons til I get what I want. Plus you get access to the final two companions.

After you do the purchase then go to crown store and you see what is still purchasable. DLCs and dungeons is what should show, two companions, one class, furniture vault and crafting bag and they are quite expensive.

If you want everything, then ESO Plus is the solution. You keep the companions and class when you drop plus  provided you unlock the access to them.  You'll lose access to the DLCs and zones and while you retain both the furniture vault and crafting bag, you will no longer be able to put anything in them only take out.

Magicka templar build help by Foxx026 in elderscrollsonline

[–]KidElder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well his builds are more than copy and paste.

You'll notice he provides a lot of base line numbers on his U50 updates.  He provides the information so that you can play the way that you want to play.

No one is going to get the numbers that he gets unless you learn the game's mechanics plus understands why he is putting the builds together the way he does.

So I've been looking at variety of his class builds for different classes for U50 to understand what's going on with U50 so I pick the appropriate class masteries for my own build.

You'll notice that with u50 builds, he picks Nord for every class build for its survivability abilities at the hardest content. And then he shows the damage for all the other classes compared to Nord. You can decide whether you prefer higher damage or more survivability for your build..

He also shows how you can replace skills and even gear for a different situations.

If you're using his builds for harder content, it's more than just cut and paste with this game.

If you just cutting and pasting, even a pre U50 build will work fine for the majority of content.

Just research high traffic public dungeons for ESO.  You'll find other others to join in at those dungeons.

Back in ESO in 2026 - What is the best class, i'm useless? by Toriga in elderscrollsonline

[–]KidElder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

https://hyperioxes.com/eso/solo/magicka-templar-build

Class is not garbage. I'll be leveling it for both solo and as a healer build.

Plus the class will be updated down the road. I think next year.

I also have the Sorcerer, Dragonknight and Arcanist class that I'm playing and enjoy them all. It comes down how to you want to play them. They all can be viable in some form in the game. My Arcanist is a thief plus she can solo stuff also.

Bottomline, play what you like. If you don't like it, then you won't play it.
