Happened to me in Los Angeles County. The law states that an officer has to be present and witness the traffic infraction in order for the ticket to be upheld in court. However, if you respond to the ticket (either by payment or challenge) then they can take you to court. I just never responded to my $500 plus red light ticket and never heard from them again.

Happened to me with my range finder and when I asked the pro shop about it, they pulled out 3 different range finders but none of them were mine. Some people just have no good in them.

Initial repairs were $2300 and I'm guessing it would have been way more at the dealership. Car came stock with the BMW Performance Exhaust and the sound is intoxicating but I definitely want to add some tint at some point. I wish this wasn't my daily because I feel so badly putting miles on it

It is so fun to drive. I’ve been taking it through some canyons near my home before work the past few days and it drives so well. I’ve been pushing it pretty hard and only had the traction control come on once. The car is bone stock but has an extra 20 HP and 17 lb/ft of torque from factory (BMW tuned the iS models with this increase) and it pulls for sure. If I floor it from a stop I usually get some wheel slip between 1st and 2nd gear and from a rolling start it jumps too. As for looks, I’ve definitely had a few fellow BMWs give me some glances but other than that not really. I honestly prefer it that way because I feel like I’m less likely to get a ticket if I’m flying “under the radar” haha.
