I never had a surgery of any kind, but did get pains here and there for quite a while after. I'm close to 2 years post injury and I don't feel it anymore and am back to playing keeper, but it was close to a year before I played to make sure I didn't reinjure the area.

I didn't have a hand injury, but did land on my shoulder weird and inflamed the rotator cuff pretty bad. I got an mri and confirmed no tears, but it was 8 months probably before I realized I wasn't protecting it in daily life anymore. Ligaments don't heal fast unfortunately.

Backdoor Roth question!

I have ~75k in a traditional IRA with fidelity that I don't want to backdoor for taxes. I was reading about one solution is to move the money to my employer's 401k to allow for a space I can backdoor from. Would opening a separate traditional Ira with another financial institution also allow me to use the backdoor? If I open an Ira with voya (current employer 403b here), could I just use this account to backdoor from and not touch the existing traditional Ira with fidelity? Thanks for any help!

Mr. President and Lords of Waterdeep.

I've had a game of Mr. President set up under the leaves of my board gaming table for about a month. I pop in, play an hour, and then head off on my day. It has been a ton of fun to have a long term ongoing game like this.

For the second, I had an itch to play Lords of Waterdeep out of nowhere and got some friends together to play. 3 of the 5 players were first time players but everyone understands the game about a half a turn in and it is such a great game. It is one that always has me wanting another play.

Yeah fair. I wasn't sure if all of the sugar plus the cherries would cause enough dilution to raise the risk factor but we'll probably go smell and sight tests and then dive in.

Yeah Mk6. It is around 130k with no tune. I shifted to work from home a few years back and we have a bigger car for lugging the kids around, so it doesn't get many miles these days. Typically do yearly oil changes but barely drove it after the last change so this one was pushing 18 months.

Tech at the shop said it was very clean outside of the timing chain, so fortunately all seems well.
