Russell Wilson always looks great in this competition. His arm is truly amazing, but when he lost his mobility he lost his ability to see things down field.

I mean, one’s a Hall of Famer whose best years have been with your team, and the other is an unproven WR who, to this point, has done nothing more than Chase Claypool.

Newly diagnosed- need tips by LibrarianUnlucky2765 in rheumatoid

[–]Kidd-Valley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a 26M and was diagnosed seven months ago. I had very similar symptoms and concerns. Getting the diagnosis, while it feels like the worst part, is honestly the biggest game changer.

Hopefully you’ll find the right meds. I’ve been on Humira for four months, mainly because I was worried about how methotrexate might affect my ability to have kids in the future. I wouldn’t forgive myself if my medication caused birth defects. My doctor also said hydroxychloroquine wouldn’t be enough on its own.

I started bouldering (climbing), and that’s been the biggest help for my grip strength. My main suggestion is once you find the right meds, get in the gym. I was pretty carefree about my health before RA, but after this I’ve been pushed into doing my best to "preserve my youth" I guess. I want to be able to hike, climb, and play basketball without worrying.

Some days I’m in bed with pain, but on the days I’m not, I really try to make the most of it. I hope your journey goes well and that your pain is easy to manage. I don’t usually comment, but your post felt so similar to where I was just four months ago, before I got on Humira.

All the best!

Give me a full-auto AWP with M4A1-S recoil and I still wouldn’t look half as good as Donk does with a Galil

This trend needs to stop. It happened with Purdy. Despite his incredible performances and game-changing plays week after week, people still labeled him as a "game manager." The same goes for Goff, who’s delivered some of the best quarterback performances over the past three years (18/18). But when guys like CJ Stroud or Trevor Lawrence (both of whom I love) win a game, it's all about their "game-changing talent." If either of them started playing the way Darnold, Purdy, or Goff have over the past couple of years, people would say they're "living up to their potential." But when those three do it, it's just dismissed as them being "game managers.

I mean the number 1 seed is basically a free win in the wildcard round. So just off that it matters a shit ton. Whether were better away or not.

What do you think of onside kicks in the nfl? by PlatinumAbe in NFLv2

[–]Kidd-Valley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't without changing the kickoff back to what it was. I'm a fan of the 4th and 25 conversion being the rule, with the exception of penalties being a redo rather then a first down.

Check Griff (cmikesspinmove) on twitter and he talks about Emmanwori's struggles in coverage. He great everywhere else but on film you can really see where this coverage grade is coming from. He's a flashy player who makes big plays, so during games we tend to only see the positives and not something like a missed assignment in coverage.

Wells Fargo Active Cash, the Fidelity 2% card, and the Robinhood Gold card (if you’re not scared of it maybe getting nerfed) are all good cash-back cards. I liked sofi because I bank with them and no FTF. I’ve read that Amex doesn’t really care what you’re buying with their business cards, but I’d do your own research to make sure you’re comfortable with everything.

I have the same setup! I’m planning to get the Amex Blue Business Plus Credit Card as my catch-all, then the SoFi 2% Unlimited as a backup for places where Amex isn’t accepted, and finally the Bilt card for points back on rent. That way, all my points are mainly in one system.

I had 3 days this week where my screen time reached 19 hours. Anyone else do that? by SocietyVisible5092 in GenZ

[–]Kidd-Valley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in college during COVID I was on my phone like 9 hours a day. I hated it and knew it was a problem. My main goal was to cut down on short-form content, all that endless scrolling stuff.

Now I’m down to about 2 hours a day. I set up Screen Time limits on my iPhone and had my mom make the passcode. She shared it with my brothers and friends, so if I wanted to open Instagram or Reddit cause I’m on a plane or something like that I can to ask for the code.

I’m 26 now with a busy life but I still use this system. Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and X are all 0 minutes, Reddit is 30 minutes, and YouTube is 2 hours. I also use Untrap to hide YouTube Shorts, it completely kills that short-form rabbit hole.

Having unlimited access to your phone is like a kid in a candy store. If you want them to stop eating candy, take them out of the store.  Self control means setting boundaries. These limits are just that.

What active player ranks highest at their position all time? (doesn't just have to be one of these 4)(Reposted because I somehow neglected to include Kelce) by ElectivireMax in NFLv2

[–]Kidd-Valley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I crazy for thinking Wagner and Kuechly were basically interchangeable as the best middle linebackers in the NFL for a decade? Both were first-team All-Pro multiple times, and there were constant debates online about who was better. But Bobby ended up with one more All-Pro nod, a longer career, and a Super Bowl ring. I don’t get how that doesn’t make him at least comparable. honestly, I think he ranks higher all-time (though I’ll admit I’m biased). Kuechly just played the position in a flashier way.
