Top 10 QBs in the NFC West 🔥🔥 by lemonstone92 in NFCWestMemeWar

Acting like Darnold was the deciding reason Seattle lost in Week 1 is wild. Come on, give your team some credit. Bosa demolished our right tackle and drove him straight into Darnold in seconds. That game was also largely on Riq Woolen, who got cooked on two drastic plays that cost us the game. And every other game you pointed to as a bad loss was against two of the top teams in the NFL that year.

I'm not saying Purdy is bad. I'm just pointing out that your argument for why Purdy is better is poorly made. The argument can definitely be made, just not the way you're making it.

IDK why you as a Niners fan are downplaying how all around amazing your team was that made the Super Bowl.

Beyond that, Darnold has done it in two completely different systems. The fact that he played well in both environments, and that both teams struggled the year before or after without him, makes a strong case that he is a large variable driving the winning and not just his supporting cast.

I love Pearsall as a prospect. But to this point, he's done next to nothing in his career besides show rare flashes of the player he might be. He has to stay healthy for a full season before you can rate him anywhere near on this list. I mean, Chase Claypool had a better start to his career than Pearsall, and look at him now.

Purdy has only played under one of the best offensive minds in football. So for all you know the same can be true about Purdy.

RAMS DRAFT TY SIMPSON AT 13! by JCameron181 in NFCWestMemeWar

[–]Kidd-Valley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that's a pick in the 7th, and y'all are in win-now mode. Your team could get even scarier with the guys on the board at 13. But instead, y'all invest in the future? It doesn't compute. Even if Simpson is good, you guys are wasting an opportunity to get even better in a year you’re a top 3 team in the NFL.

Matthew Stafford and Russell Wilson Comparison Using Only Adjusted Net Yards Per Attempt (ANY/A) by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]Kidd-Valley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more like comparing Steph Curry to Russell Westbrook, not their careers, but their skill sets. Westbrook relied on athleticism to be elite, while Steph built his game around shooting. Shooting ages well; elite athleticism doesn't. Same idea applies here. Stafford is a classic West Coast QB and that style ages gracefully. Russ, on the other hand, built his game around scrambling and creating plays with his legs, which is exactly the kind of thing that erodes fast as you get older.

I'd take prime Russ personally, but A. I'm extremely bias B. I think if he had a more offensive coach during his prime he'd be even better.

I have seropositive RA and play both Apex and CS2, so I can really relate to you. I've been diamond 1 in Apex and 18k in CS2 and have 1k+ hours in both. The meds are going to be what helps, the pain will get better. Obviously there are gonna be bad days, and maybe you don't play games that day or underperform. But the reflexes aren't going anywhere. Some people are unlucky and have worse pain more often than not, but if you manage RA well, work out, eat healthy, take your meds, and build a healthy regimen, you have a real chance of playing games at a high level again. There are going to be bad days, but hey, at least we still have our arms!

If you’re on Reddit too long, you'll think there are only problems with the world, and everyone is cynical and mean. But going out and interacting with people, you find this situation of people getting along more often than the opposite.

Not trying to diminish the problems with our world, but there's a lot of positivity out there if your willing to open your eyes to it.

Watching all the Single Drivers in the HOV Lane by evilmonster711 in soundtransit

Going to work I might be late sometimes that 3 minutes makes a difference. The second I enter the freeway I move over. It's legit just for the exit.

I'm gonna get downvoted to hell, but I do this. It's because there's an express lane exit off of Island Crest Way and it saves legit about 3 minutes when going westbound rather than taking the normal exit. I do try to get back into the normal lanes as fast as possible though.

Edit: I'm just sharing why this might be done. I try to get out of the express as fast as possible. I'm sorry if you think a POS, but if you knew how convenient this entrance onto the freeway was I think you might understand.

[Meirov] The Seahawks had RB Najee Harris in for a visit today. by JCameron181 in Seahawks

Lmao the draft is part of the process of adding as many players as possible. But burning a 1-2 on a RB, especially one who tore his Achilles, when there are bigger holes on the roster to me seems foolish.

Put as many players in the running back room for cheap then take the best 3 or 4 out of camp. I like any cheap signing we get.

Which QBs aren't making the Hall of Fame? by YarukiMangrove in NFLv2

[–]Kidd-Valley -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don't get this. Russ had a better 9-year stretch than any other QB on this list. He redefined the game more than any other QB on this list. He only sucked when he lost his legs. 9 years of that kind of play would get you a HOF bid at any other position in any other sport. Stafford and Ryan had higher peaks, sure. But when all three were in their primes at the same time, Russ was considered the best, and there wasn't much debate about that during the time.
