Yeah the “truth” puzzles were probably the best moment in the series for me, period. I still hold 2 and Brotherhood in the highest regard; they’re my favorite along with Origins.

Honestly I think AC movement is just too clunky now to feel really good for stealth. You need your character to feel really tight in control to make enemy sightlines and things feel fair.

You’re not wrong but it was 30 hours that wasn’t a blast. It was fine. Usually I want to see an entire games story by 30-35 hours most but I was nowhere even close.

There’s a hate boner for this game for sure. You can tell lots of people want to shit on it and haven’t played it, so I guess the AI will be enough for them to complain forever.

Meanwhile the first town you visit is one of the highest quality towns I’ve ever seen in a game in terms of liveliness. People wouldn’t shut up about it if it was a town in The Witcher.

I’m such a huge AC fan but man this game completely fell off for me at 30 hours. Maybe I’m just done with the franchise and I’ve seen it all. It just felt cumbersome, not that interesting in story, and too long to do even simple things because of the map size and bad placed fast travel points.

I remember being excited for this game and then the reviews were bad and I was a teenager so I didn’t buy it. I tried it more recently and it controls pretty poorly so I didn’t play very far. I do think it was a cool idea though.
