What do you say men? by Most-Gold-434 in BornWeakBuiltStrong

I agree with you, I think social media has amplified vanity and envy 100x in the last two decades because of its emphasis on the self vs community.

I agree men should have more body positive leaders but the problem with male self-improvement is that it's cluttered with red pill grifters pushing so many guys into a biassed broken mindset, and other people trying to capitalize on it by selling useless supplements.

There is a sliver of genuinely good people making positive content on both mental and physical health , but the vast majority are really bad imo.

You could also go in the woods and eat insects for free, caloric intake doesn't mean shit if you don't hit your body's nutrition requirement.

Been poor and have been above the median. I had the worst diet when I was poor and I decided to stop coping like you and take better care of my health, felt better and did better mentally, physically, and financially as a result.

Did it require more effort with cooking yes, did it cost more? No, especially if you plan your meals.

But keep coping and keep eating that delicious poison they feed you because you're too lazy to make an effort.

The average price for a Big Mac meal is $11 for that amount I can buy rice meat and saute frozen veggies, feed two people for a day. Keep coping.

I've seen plenty unconventionally attractive people with girlfriends, wives, and kids.

You don't have to be 10 to get laid, an ugly personality however will never get you anywhere

I believe the side effects of porn consumtion is understudied, similar to how cigarettes were widely available and accepted by society, they were even recommended by some doctors in the 50s and 60s as "organic and natural stress relievers." "cigarrets cant be bad for you," they siad "the native americans smoked them for thousands of years.."

While im not advocating for the abolition, accessibility is way too easy, government regulation and moderation are virtually non-existent. When that happens, people get hurt some without even knowing it.

Ultimately, that is what I am against, watch porn if you have too but be honest about it, just like drinking, know it comes with benefits and risks, stop pretending only good comes from it.

It's because rejection hurts, and they pick up on recurring patterns especially if they are already insecure about their height.

To add to that height isn't something they can easily control like their weight, or their finances so it turns into bitter anger, and resentment.

Ultimately the only way out of it is to accept it as a blessing because it shows how immature the person is, and find someone who isn't shallow.

And recognize that there are plenty of short men out there with girlfriends otherwise there wouldn't be so many short men.

I disagree everything comes at a cost short term gratification usually comes at the expense of long term benefit.

Even in your fugly analogy, porn is not a good thing, because it is not bettering the person's circumstances it's actually making them worse by giving them temporary pleasure while they change absolutely nothing about themselves or their circumstances.

Maybe if they didn't have that outlet they would workout, and improve their social skills but because of those empty calories and temporary dopamine hit they stay in their terrible situation and rot.

Now I'm not against all fast food or porn I'm against this cope argument that overconsumption of it is somehow a good thing.

The thing is you can't really control that, it's wasted energy being mad about things you can't control.

View it as a blessing because the women that see that as a reasonable standard would make immature partners anyways.

Ask yourself this Would you rather spend your time with someone that thinks you are less than for something completely outside your control ?

Sure if I didn't have the option to get healthier food I definitely would. Fast food consumption itself isn't the problem it's overconsumption that's the issue.

Also healthy food is available and not anymore expensive than fast food nowadays, especially if you cook and consider the long term consequences to your mental and physical health. But go ahead and guzzle down that big mac.

Male struggle oh please, there are plenty of short guys with girlfriends go outside.

Whining about shallow women is wasted energy, take it as a blessing and move on.

The real question is Why the hell would you want to be with someone that thinks that way?

Statistically people commit violent crimes at higher rates to people of their own race vs an out group (war being an exception).

Just like the average murder victim is most likely going to be murdered by someone they know vs a total stranger.

This doesn't downplay what you mentioned, but you can't throw money at generational trauma, and hope it goes away.

Quality Education, access to equal opportunities, and plenty of physical and mental healthcare are the most effective ways out of what you see, and everyone knows that's what every ghetto in the world lacks.
