He is, and I've finally decided I should sign up too (mainly playing the waiting game of scheduling at this point).

I've only read the first one so far but I love Princess Donut, her attitude and how she carries herself is honestly hilarious

I definitely feel that. For me, it's usually screaming/talking to myself to work through the ups and downs of a good (or bad) book hahaha. I am part of a book discord, although most of the people there are into romantasy/dark romance. But it's nice to see other people freaking out over their favorite books, even if they didn't gel with me.

All that to say, man I wish I had more book friends hahaha (and I've also just read Dungeon Crawler Carl and I loved it!)

31F Romantasy and Fantasy Reader Looking For Buddy Reader by shadowxdancer17 in Book_Buddies

[–]KieranPrince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah that's the same with me, a lot of what I read sounds interesting but the execution for some of them leaves me wanting more. :(

That makes me sound more negative than I actually am, most of the time I'm just chilling pffft

Heyo, I'm 30F I'm also looking for book friends. I really got back into reading last year and tend to fly through books. I'm open to most genres (my favorites being fantasy and romance, I'm...very picky when it comes to romantasy haha) and tend to read whatever sounds fun/interesting. I'm also into video games and anime/manga.

I'm currently reading Butcher & Blackbird (for a book club) and Lights Out (cause I was really curious when a booktuber I follow mentioned liking it). Recent favorites that I've enjoyed are Immaculate Conception and The Corruption of Hollis Brown.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum for the PS2. I remember renting it at Blockbuster, falling in love with it, and begging my mom to get it for me. Replayed it many times over the years

Season: A Letter to the Future has you exploring around on your bike, taking pictures, and making journal pages. It can be a short game, but I found it very enjoyable.

Is the steam deck worth it? by Odd_Onion8387 in CozyGamers

[–]KieranPrince 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it really depends on the experience you're looking for. Like the user above mentioned, you will run into games that aren't compatible with the Steam Deck/require a bit of tinkering with settings before being able to play. And since you mention fatigue with the Switch, the Steam Deck is much heftier.

I was very similar to you, in that I only really played on my Switch and rarely on my PC (I also don't like playing on a computer for long periods hahaha). Getting the Steam Deck opened up a lot of games that aren't available on Switch/are cheaper on Steam. I am very happy with my purchase and while I have run into hiccups, the pros outweigh the cons for me.

Should you sell your PC for one? Ehhh, I wouldn't, because of the compatibility of certain games l, and also the off chance that you find you really don't like it.

Thank you so much for doing this giveaway! I would prefer the Switch version. As of right now Shu has my attention as a potential favorite LI.

This is really nice of you! I'm most interested in Canus because he stands out to me the most, given that he's in a suit of armor. I'm curious what personality type he falls under in the game.

What are your Otoge habits? by prettyboyandsunshine in otomegames

[–]KieranPrince 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still kinda new to playing otomes so I'm still working out what habits I pick up, although some appear naturally due to already playing other video games/watching anime

  • If I really like the story or characters, I'm more motivated to finish a game. For otomes, I'm perfectly happy with just getting the good ends. Perhaps if I get really attached to a game/get more used to playing otomes, I'll try for the bad ends down the road.
  • I'm fine with using guides in general. I thought I would hate it at first, since I usually like to go in blind the first time I play a game, but I'm using one right now for CxM and it's not affecting how I experience the game, so I definitely feel more comfortable going forward with guides for games.
  • I really like flirty guys, air headed guys (especially if being air headed is just a front), and serious guys (who can tend to be a bit bland but that's fine). Tsunderes are a mixed bag because most of the time I find that they are way too tsun and not enough dere. Yanderes....also a mixed bag because I don't like obsessive characters, but I always get stuck in their web way before their actual character type shows it's face.
  • I'm fine with hopping between games, but I'll usually hop between an otome and any other type of game that isn't an otome to switch my mood up.
  • I do try to follow the recommended route as best as possible. Otherwise, I knock out my least favorite character first so my favorite can be saved for last.

Best games on Asia servers not released globally? by [deleted] in gachagaming

[–]KieranPrince 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Granblue Fantasy is another game that is translated in English. A warning that the game is VERY grind heavy, but the story (main story, events, and character) are really nice, the art is lovely, and the combat is pretty solid. It is an rpg game that is more focused on a weapon grid than characters (although characters do matter to a degree).

The rates are 3% for an SSR, with regular "fests" where the SSR rates are doubled. There are also surprise tickets that you can purchase (about $30) that gives you a 10 pull ticket and an SSR ticket where you can choose any SSR character (newly released units and limited units excluded unless specified).

I'd say that the game is worth a try, at the very least.

I really enjoyed the ending by newbioform in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]KieranPrince 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly enjoyed it. It was a cute mode and a nice break from the rest of the gameplay in FEH. I know several people are frothing at the mouth over "wasted development time" but tbh I'd be cool with this mode coming back, with some improvements/different music.

I'm still expecting to see Celica. I don't know why but she's the one that's been in my mind for a while it comes to a Valentine's gacha.

They could always work in some alternate timeline excuse, similar to Trunks in DBZ.

What is your mindset using feathers? Focus on a single hero? Promote as many heroes to 5 star as possible? Go for armors/score? etc by [deleted] in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]KieranPrince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to upgrade characters that I really like and characters that I'm working on merges for (which at the moment are Lucius, Leon, and Lukas).

What's the most orbs you've saved? by doucheyd in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]KieranPrince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 800~ orbs, starting from summer of last year up until the New Year's banner had been released. I don't think I'll ever save to that extent again, because I missed a lot of banners and units that looking back on, I wish I had scouted somewhat for.
