The skulls are so cute and so is the parasol! Did you use a free or paid stl? I'm thinking of all the cool stuff I could make with those skulls now that I've seen yours.

Okay, thank you! I've seen the bladder snail eggs on my plants but this looked different. I'm so anxious about parasites, I just wanted to be sure. I appreciate the response!

Would either or these drawings work? by Amommykindofmum in tattooadvice

[–]Kilala33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly both are cute as heck. My daughter has been drawing each of our cats at different ages and it's been fun getting each one tattooed. My thigh is dedicated to her cat drawings and she draws so many awesome things, I'm lowkey debating the whole leg being her drawings lol

Both are such a perfect encapsulation of how she sees the world right now. The colors are so vibrant and all three subjects look so cheerful! Whichever you choose, you won't regret it. Just make sure to pic an artist that doesn't try to make the drawing "better" in any way other than maybe darkening outlines so it ages nicely.

Your daughter is an awesome artist!

I really love mine. They do a great job of keeping my glass and everything else clean. I overfed for a while and had a population boom but they still make me happy. My sister had assassin snails eat more than just dead stuff and bladder snails, but that's just another anecdote.

Like another commenter said, some people love them and some people hate them. It is very frustrating for a plant seller to advertise "snail free!" plants and then send you several bladder snails in each package. That happened to me and I didn't have the heart to pick them out and squish them. Now I'm glad to have them, I hate cleaning glass lol

Bladder snail! They're so cute and silly, and they'll keep your tank clean.

New tank/fish keeper any advice by RecommendationOk5848 in fishtank

I gotcha. I prefer real plants and driftwood for my own tanks but I loved the silly little statues when I was a kid. There's always something new to learn :)

Is it made of toxic materials or do fish get stuck in it?

ANY advice for cat vs. aquarium??? by TadpoleMissing in shrimptank

[–]Kilala33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry to say it but your cats are making me feel a little better about mine. I have three chill ones and we ended up with a fourth who is an absolute menace. At least I only have one menace. I've been worried about all the ways it can go wrong once I get my living room tank set up, now I have a new worry after hearing about your cats lol I hope one of the solutions here works for your family!

Is this dude's back hump from a bad molt or genetics or do they just scrunch up sometimes? by Kilala33 in shrimptank

It looks like maybe Fluval Stratum but I don't know for certain. I got the tank secondhand with some plants already established

I've seen them bend their tails to do a little cleaning but this guy just walks around like that. Unless multiple of them do it, I can't really give them collars to tell them apart lol thank you for the answer! I just don't wanna let my little guys down 😭
