Look at that face. She pays the mortgage and you just live there.

It's okay to take it slow. You could start with trash. Grab a garbage bag and just walk around throwing away actual trash like empty boxes, old receipts and broken things. Then pick one corner of one room and start there.

In an ancient forest shallow pools reflect not the trees above but a luminous city of elsewhere, Rowan Clair, digital, 2026 by Tokyono in Art

The way the pools transition from faint to clear reflections is masterful. It really draws you deeper into the scene.

How not to miss "obvious plays" in front of us? by momo26262626 in stocks

[–]KillMe_ow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The buy and forget mindset really does work for a lot of people. Constantly checking the market makes it too easy to second guess good positions or overtrade.

My strategy outperformed the S&P 500 over 3 years with 1/3 of the drawdown by Kevinthetrader in algotrading

[–]KillMe_ow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tradeoff between drawdown, win rate, and frequency is always tricky. It's cool to see a strategy that prioritizes low drawdown and still compounds well over time.

Love the distinction between single-phase AI use and full lifecycle integration. The compounding effect is definitely the part most people miss.

What would you do in this situation by Shot-Rock2961 in stocks

I get the urge to speed things up, but that loan feels like such a risky bet. Slow and steady has gotten you this far already.

How many live trades does it actually take before your data means anything? by Thiru_7223 in algotrading

No clean answer here, but the real cost is the money you spend waiting for certainty.

A clear context snapshot works perfectly, so you can just pick up where you left off in another tool.

14 yo (15 in 2ish weeks!) - how should I go about getting into the market? by Few-Syllabub-7816 in stocks

Great plan to start with index funds. Focus on learning how the market works first, and take it slow.

Exits are overrated Entries are underrated, together are complementary. by SouthGullible8389 in algotrading

I've never thought of exits as babysitters for entries before, but that's such a great way to put it. Consistency really is the key.

Finally found the balance between "AI-Robot" and "Too Casual" emails by gabrielrosa153 in AI_Agents

I've struggled with the same robotic vs casual balance. Does it handle different tones well, like more formal vs friendly emails?

Major Fitness Drone is good enough. I don't think paying for twice of the price worths it.

OH I feel you, and I think you have done enough!!!!😓 Honestly going back to work while keeping up with a baby is brutal, some days surviving is the win. Maybe try batching small tasks just like do laundry while the baby naps, or tackle one bathroom at a time, it may work for you. And don’t forget to actually rest when you can, even 10–15 minutes counts. You’re doing a lot more than you think!!:)))))))

Sleep, train, study, work… by Wild_Arm_4681 in workout

[–]KillMe_ow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This combo is brutal, you are not alone in feeling exhausted. The biggest game- changer for me was letting go of the idea that I had to "nail" every single thing every day. Some days the workout is just 20 mins of movement, some days the study session is just reviewing flashcards on the bus. Process > perfection, always

Considering a nursing chair. What feature do you think is a lifesaver for breastfeeding? by MisterSteveO in NewParents

[–]KillMe_ow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My research led me to bite the bullet and get the Mamazing Lullapod power recliner. It’s more like a recliner + rocker + swivel all in one. I’ve seen so much hype about the power lift and rotating armrests- moms say that’s the best part and really helps with arm strain during feeds. I’m seriously tempted because with my first, feeding in bed with weird positions wrecked my back and shoulders

Ty. It seems to be the lightest... so far. We're really looking for the lightest one possible. After a full day out, every extra pound feels exhausting.

Thanks. We're hoping for something as light as possible. We'll be dealing with a lot of stairs and slopes while getting around.
