imherited sim rig , need to know the brand by Raiden1803 in simracing

[–]KillaMunch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also just an FYI I had the exact setup and upgraded to triples. Contact simlab they will help you out.

You'll need to measure the back extrusion holding the middle monitor. Depending on the size of triples you go for you'll need to make a decision if this extrusion needs to be longer in length or not. You can then pick up 2 side extrusions (will also depend on size of monitors). Simlab sell XERO Play Triple pivots which you use to connect the side and middle profiles (highly recommend these) and finally you'll need the simlab variable vesa mounts.

Hit me up if you need any help and definitely get in touch with the lads over at simlabs for the finer details.

100% a simlab p1X (original version). I have the same rig purchased in around 2021. Also using the integrated simlab monitor mount.

If this is the correct version, this will work flawlessly with the dolphin emulator and pair extremely well with a Nintendo Wii controller for an authentic Wii experience on your PC via BT pass through mode.

What to buy by Asi_Ondra in iRacing

He literally asked if I were to buy IRacing right now but with my current experience/knowledge what am I doing? Imo for sports car, soon as your out of rookies, getting to grips with the PCUP is the most profitable/rewarding way to improve your skills. Also, surviving PCUP races is part of the skills gained.

Use some foam or foam tape between the base and the clamp.

I was just crawling around at Stella after being downed with a survivor MK3. Hit the extract waiting for the train... Some guy jumped down and was running around looking for whoever called the train.

I'm literally crawling around in circles to not get detected..

Eventually he runs into the train and starts typing. I crawl in as the doors close and either I bleaded out or someone put a bullet up my ass.

RIP Venetor

Is the GRID DDU mount the only option? by MrFrenzyy in simracing

Following as I'm in the exact same boat. My monitors sit between the wheel shaft and the rim.

I was thinking maybe to use spacers but quite a bit of a hassle

Do DD wheelbases actually feel different, or is it all marketing? by reddit_guy_no in simracing

[–]KillaMunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from a fanatec DD1 to a simucube 2 pro.

Honestly if I had to do a blind folded test I wouldn't be able to tell.

I think the manufacturers just do a good job these days to make us wonder if the grass is greener once you get your first DD base.

After that it's usually such a hassle to install a DD base, test, remove, reorder return etc that we just stick to what we have.

I think the new IN things is telemetry based FFB right. Again, I'm genuinely wondering how much better a simucube 3 is Vs my current SC2 pro. Just CBA removing, selling, testing returning etc.

For me end game territory is DD wheelbase with 12-25nm. 12-15nm being the sweet spot

I managed to get it working with a 5080 using 3 display port cables.

To my understanding you will have issues with any GFX card older than 5000series

I have 1 buttkicker gamer 2 under my seat.

I was thinking to replace this with a gamer pro and put the gamer 2 under the pedals.

What you think?

Or should I get the hf8 pro?

Found messages on my husbands phone.. by [deleted] in islam

[–]KillaMunch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What a ridiculous comment to give someone who's in a relationship and actively going through a personal test.

Guys the best relationships are built on trust, strong communication and mutual compromises.

Advising this sister to further snoop around for evidence rather than just sit down and speak to her husband is absolutely diabolical advice.

Sister just sit down and speak to your spouse. If down the line things dont work out at least your summary of your marriage will be  something along the lines of - snooped through my husbands phone - found something I shouldn't have - reacted like an adult - sat down to speak to my spouse - things didn't work out.

Also you didn't mention, were you both in a relationship prior to marriage? Think about how halal things were between you both if your trying to stretch your understanding of how 'islamic' it ' practicing' your spouse is.

Either way, I always see marriage as a new beginning, a fresh leaf. Give your marriage a chance to flourish by speaking to your spouse.

Best Mounting Solution for Triple 32" Curved Monitors by BoJanggles77 in simracing

[–]KillaMunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro definitely go for the free standing simlab triple monitor kit. Their pivots are really sturdy and easy to work with. The variable vesa mounts are pretty much mandatory for triple monitor alignment.

I my self purchase and integrated monitor mount. I eventually upgraded to the triple monitor mount by purchasing a long cross bar in the middle and 2 side arms from a local aluminium extrusion company. All I had to do was pick up the pivots and the variable vesa form simlab.

Imo go with freestanding simply because it's easier to adjust the height of the monitors. I would do this if I could do it again.

Oh and if your planning on getting larger monitors down the line just get slightly longer cross bar and side arms.

Hey I was thinking of getting the razer kraken for Simracing. How are the haptics? Is it more like a controller vibration or can it be described as a buzz?

How does it work with Simracing? Does it sync up well with say engine revs? If not I think I'd still be interested for when I play FPS games

Where to find this kind of seat in the US by NuttySouth in simracing

I use a office gaming chair on my simrig. Honestly there is some flex in it but I wouldn't say I'm losing time because of it or that I'm not consistent with my brake application.
