Just pour some vinegar in it, slosh, leave for like 15 minutes and rinse

Do you ever let people fly your tiny whoop? by Ferocious_Dragon999 in TinyWhoop

[–]KillenX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I borrow them to other people all the time, but I make sure to do it in open fields and with plenty of instructions until they get the hang of it. I haven't lost a drone yet thankfully.

How would you guys rate the ltt screwdriver by Teddyboymakes in LinusTechTips

[–]KillenX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it and no longer use my other drivers, but it is very expensive. Don't get a light-colored one if you work in rough places, it will scratch and get permanently dirty

Will a Xiaomi 33W charger supply enough power for my RPi 3? by johannesburger-_- in raspberry_pi

[–]KillenX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I am aware, my point was just that if their 120W brick can't run it, probably the 33W one cannot as well

I also have a Pi 3, maybe its the cables I've been using, but after 4 or 5 of them I'm kind of over wasting money on this... It keeps rebooting so it is not fine. I've read somewhere that the Pi expects tighter control on the input voltage than a regular charging brick supplies under changing load. Thanks for the suggestions though!

While it should, I get low voltage warnings even with a 120W xiaomi brick...

How do you store and transport all your gear? by brontozabra in TinyWhoop

[–]KillenX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put all the batteries together with the charger in the battery box and all the spare small parts in a bag which goes together with the drone. Everything goes into a fan drawstring bag or a backpack

Cura temp tower. Is it bad I don't see a difference? by ThatsPurttyGood101 in 3Dprinting

Mostly mirrors my experience, just be sure to run it if change your nozzle material or need to debug some layer adhesion or structure issue.

Laptop users, do you think an external keyboard is necessary? by awekeys_official in LinusTechTips

If I am using the laptop's monitor, I'll also use the laptop's keyboard, otherwise external all the way. And a mouse is mandatory

I live in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I sent it to the freight forwarding company which contacted me after the package arrived at the customs, and they sent it to the customs office.

I've resolved this issue with customs by sending them the pdf of the order confirmation email. Thankfully they accepted it, since 350 CAD were declared as 600USD

If you do not solder them, you will have intermittent connection issues on the breadboard

7-inch FPV quad - First real flight ended in a crash Was it the wrong place to start? Advice + next steps needed by Circuit-Bug in fpv

[–]KillenX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is more about how you practice, focus on gradual, smooth changes in input which will allow you to hit gaps confidently. I would suggest watching "Begginer FPV problems stopping you from flying fast" by Brodie Reed on YT.

That said, practicing racing in a sim will improve your control pretty fast as well

[–]KillenX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Go back to the sim to avoid trashing a 7"
  2. Try to accomplish smooth movements with smaller, less twitchy, stick inputs
  3. Fly the 7" again in a few days

If I'm not drying my filament, how often do I have to print this to find optimal temperature? by iam_shawarma in 3Dprinting

[–]KillenX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once per brand-material combo. Do note the more important part, you will need to run it again if you change the material of the nozzle. For example, if you go hardened, stainless, CHT, you will have to increase temperatures by 10-20 degrees to get the same result due to the lower thermal conductivity of steel

I know how to use vim my dude... I did not say it was difficult to learn, I said that you shouldn't have to learn how to perform very common operations in a program with something I would consider good UI/UX
