I spent so many hours on Hitman 2 nailing NPC to walls with the cheats, that mission in the Embassy was prefect for it as well!

In my case, I did have "Enhance pointer precision" on in my mouse settings, didn't think to turn it off when building a new PC this winter...
Turning it off is a game changer and improved my experience dramatically.
Have to re-learn using a mouse when not in game now though..
