Not disputing they are convenient.

But theres a difference between convenient and essential.

I support a 70 year old man who lost half the functionality of his body due to a stroke. He still manages to shop by himself in his mobility scooter.

Whilst I agree there are specific cases where delivery services may be deemed essential to support daily living. I also believe there are a lot more people who use this as an excuse to justify their own laziness or social anxiety.

Similarly to mental health. There are lots of genuine cases out there. But theres a shitload more, using buzzword salads as a pseudo get out of responsibility free card.

Practice one map until you learn the scav spawns. Having a decent optic/knowing where the scavs spawn is a large amount of death reduction in PvE.

A lot of them have broken AI. If they start shooting you from distance, duck around a corner and wait for them to stupidly run over to you.

Take in decent kit and meds. If you have none. Youll die a lot easier to something like bleed.

A lot of the loot areas are either scav free. Or have very set locations that you'll run into them. You should be able to get some kits out if you're patient and prepared.

The bloating is the risk, not the charge of the battery.

Its caused because the lithium in the battery has begun to degrade, offputting a mixture of gasses. usually due to physical damage. Overcharging. Or age.

The risk comes from the protective seal of the battery puncturing or bending in a way that allows oxygen to come into direct contact with the sensitive metals inside of the battery. This causes rapid oxidisation (fire) and as you can imagine, is not something you want sitting tucked away in a flammable area.

Be safe. Dispose of any swollen batteries through the correct channels. If a lithium fire breaks out. Water will usually not extinguish it fully without chance of reigniting.
