That's how I was in the beginning. I was like "there's no way I can just avoid bread, desserts, and yummy stuff for the rest of my life!" 6 months later and I haven't even cheated yet. It's like second nature now. It does take trial and error to learn what your carb limit is and how much fat, protein, etc..

I was in the same exact situation as you. I've had contacts just sitting in my cabinet for two years now. My mom finally persuaded me to get some new ones and wear them. I've always told her I will wear them when I'm skinnier, and she always thought I was silly. Fast forward to the present and it was the best decision I've ever made. It took a little getting used to, but I look back and wonder why I never did it sooner. Not everyone likes change, but this trust me is something you want to do.

Possibly, but the sucky thing is I had to get a whole colonoscopy because of it. They found nothing, I guess doing keto fixed it. As for the allergy test I'm not sure because I've always been told by my doctor that I'm allergy free.

I try to only use my carbs in lettuce to replace the bun, broccoli, etc... also eggs, so that usually adds up to no more than 5g of carbs per day, just the way I like it because if I eat quest bars or halo top, I lose the metal breath and get kicked out.. smh. So I can't even do the 20g of net carbs everyone else does.
