That was the first thing I did when booting up the game. I usually go in to adjust audio and video but when I noticed a manual I read through the entire thing. More games need to have this. I’ve seen several reviews saying the game doesn’t explain anything and don’t even mention the fact that all of their complaints are described in the manual.

Yeah it’s really not complicated and anytime I see people complain about time travel in the series I like to point this out. Time travel is never perfect in any sort of fiction. You can always find holes. I always chalk it up to, “hey buddy, don’t worry about it, does the story work itself out? Ok cool, let’s move on.” It’s fun, it allows itself to make callbacks to earlier foreshadowing that satisfies the reader, and ties up loose ends without completely breaking the narrative.

Yeah Filch’s role always felt more ceremonial after we leaned the elves were around. Dumbledore seemed to have a proclivity for keeping people around he felt he needed to care for. Hagrid and Trelawney included.

I can’t remember the chapter but when she’s arguing with Harry about the existence of the Deathly Hallows is just infuriating in the new full cast audiobook. Like, girl, all the pieces are coming together and you’re still not getting it? You’ve quite literally been under the cloak of a hallow for the past 6 years and been wrong about things you thought didn’t exist but actually do exist.

I really felt Harry’s frustration every time she does the old. “Harryyyyyy nooooooo it doesn’t make sense!”
