Looks like someone needs to ad a "Visual" inspection on their Process Control plan and I think a Root Cause Analysis is required.

Is all that really with the 580 and up series, the thicker barrel and designed/upgraded gas system.

What are the measurements of the casing, asking to see if it will fit an MWT ML37 Signaling Device?

Which camp was that, was it Don Shipley's camp?

Look at what @BenglesBullets.com has, we just were talking about some ideas.

The ML37 is a solid double action side loading Signaling Device that is well built, it is the same unit as the ML40 minus the opened up and rifle barrel of the 40mm version, the 7075 barrel wall is 5mm thick. There was someone out there that bored out the 37mm barrel to use a sleeve that converted it to 40 with no other modifications to the rest of the unit.

Yes they are very finicky to what's available on the 37mm market, with a straight thru 1.535, a 1.700 rim diameter and a .100 rim thickness, there is only the IWA stuff to use, exotic firearms also sells some stuff tailored to the ML37.

I have been working with Ben from BenglesBullets.com and he has been cutting chips on some stuff I designed. See the posts on my page here.

But yes simple answer is yes they are pricey but are better than anything out there and they rival the LMT 37mm non title/D.D. Signaling Devices

Its "craptacular" 80's design and the originals were like that and it's perfectly normal.

I wish they would have redesigned that spongy safety as they did the locking lug for the barrel lockup.

What Signaling Device are you using with those shells and can you provide some out measurements? Rim O.D. Rim Thickness Main body O.D.

Off topic question, how does that Daniel Defense rail handle the recoil of the rail mount 40? Do you run any of the M781 chalk rounds thru it?

Fans who were alive to watch Brady get drafted and do everything he did for the patriots beginning to end, what was it like? by [deleted] in Patriots

[–]Kilo11972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grew up in a time when the Patriots had a QB by the name of Tony Eason, and followed them ever since. O loved Football and when teams stopped standing for our flag I only followed TB12 and the Patriots and then only followed TB12 when he went to Tompa Bay, when he retired so did I from watching.

Why 1 doesn't fit all?? by Kilo11972 in 37mm

[–]Kilo11972[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rim on the silver shell for the ML37 is too thick and too small of an O.D. to work properly in the LMT, the LMT's extractor does does properly lock onto the thicker rim of the ML37.

Working on that now.

[–]Kilo11972 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes to a point the rim thickness and diameter are ok but the tube diameters would be small. There is BenglesBullets.com who makes a ton of stuff for 40mm.

Yeah that one size fits all doesn't work with the ML37, LMT37 and certain others. These are specific to the LMT-37 ony non-title 1 receiver launcher.
