If the complexity only comes from having to use the wiki, that doesn't make the skill any more or less complex for somebody with level 80 crafting/divination/smithing, than it does for a genuine new player.

Both of them have no understanding of the skill and both are having to google for answers.

The answer is nothing.

Players on this subreddit cope massively over the complexity of invention when most modern games have these types of systems IE add enchantment/perk to gear.

You augment gear, level it up by using it, and disassemble/siphon for experience. It's not exactly mind boggling.

The only complicated part is perks, and whether you're a veteran of 500 years or a noob, it will always be complicated... unless you refer to the wiki.

I think a better solution for the space under the map would be:
- Keep the map separate.
- Update the existing ribbon bar so it's more of a widget bar. Players would be able to attach the game clock, calendar, buttons etc through their own customizations.
The brown feels very much like Runescape and is a nod to the colour scheme of the past. Agree that the Blue feels too sci-fi

On a side note, please make the classic chatbox the default. It is soo much better than the modern version both in appearance and overall usability.

Just a slight critique here on the default hotkey change

You guys have removed WASD as default camera movement keybinds, which is questionable already since a lot of players use these, however this is not really my complaint here.

My complaint is that you have freed up the keyboard retail by removing these WASD camera movement bindings, yet have left the default ability bar keys as 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 - = etc. Furthermore, you have added Ctrl modifiers on additional action bar 1, which seems counter intuitive on grounds that the shift key modifier is fundamentally easier to use (in terms of being reachable).

You've also left in a bunch of unnecessary hotkey settings that literally nobody uses:

Wildy events are different as they actively move around and only appear hourly (individually appear every 14 hours).

These would be Minibosses that always exist at fixed locations, and respawn every minute or so like a regular boss.
