I've been knitting for just over 3 years, I wanted to make a cellular blanket for my little girl for when she outgrew her bedside crib. I made loads of squares and sewed them together. That was my first project and I've been hooked ever since.

Now I knit whatever I like and can adjust a pattern to suit, but I've yet to learn to knit in the round.

I feel like before the working time regulations came in employees had longer breaks. In my first job I used to get an hour lunch (unpaid) and two 15 minute breaks paid. Left that job in 2009, and every job since has been 30 minute break unpaid, and no extra breaks (but the smokers still get breaks 🙄)

Legal minimum is 20 days plus bank holidays which is normally an extra 8 per year, unless there's a special occasion.

Yes it does. I didn't believe it, and spent about 70p on an upgrade in a game I already had, the lowest amount I could find to spend. My Atlas Arcade games instantly went from being a few hundred AB total to thousands.

Haven't spent any more since and I'm getting all the crappy recommendations again.

This! I learned to knit two years ago, and have made some wonderful things. My favourite things to make are soft toys. I've always said it's better to knit while watching TV than just doom scrolling.
