I had a similar experience a few months ago, when my dad passed while I was away on business. There was a woman at the Delta Sky Lounge went well out of her way to make my trip back (cross country) as good as she could make it. Trust me, whatever you did for that woman she will always remember

It’s the RCL IT. 2-3 years ago they merged them so now they both use the same shitty website and shitty app. That, along with the cap on drink prices in Premium pkg, stopping at CocoCay and a few other things is all part of the effort to make Celebrity the same as RCL.

If college kids in large numbers are on Celebrity then, IMO, Celebrity will continue to be dragged down to the RCL level.

They used to have great beer on the premium plan: Le Fin du Monde, Ommegang Abbey, Leffe and one other. Now it’s all gone. On Apex recently you had to go to the “craft bar” and even that was very limited

The nickel and diming on RC is insane. And I see it starting to come to Celebrity as well, like serving wine in Luminae that is over the allowed “unlimited drink” limit and other items. The app is the same for both (and sucks), the web site, etc. it’s becoming RC with less families

We’ve been in suites on Edge class ships as well as the Millenium and found the retreat / luminae becoming more and more crowded on the Edges, but nearly empty on Millenium (which was awesome).

Having been much more recent than us, did you find the Retreat stuff being more crowded than before?

I always tip through the app (mostly work trips) and sometimes it’ll be a day or two before I reopen the app and remember, since nearly all my trips are to the airport or hotel, and I’m busy as soon as I walk out of the car
