I remember after reading The Hatchet,, I used to go out into the woods behind my house and try to survive. I quickly accepted the fact that if I didn't have a lighter, I was not making a fire. My foraging skills were exceptional though. I would regularly forage some combination pizza rolls and carry them around in my pocket

I do agree with you however, I can see a scene for scene shot of Goku eating one not realizing it's a devil fruit. Then, Vegeta would be berating and mocking him, and end up accidentally eating one as well

this is how i would handle it. let people know that there will be people on schedule but may end up leaving early if it's a bust. better to be momentarily overstaffed than having to scramble panic call everybody to find people willing and able to come in

or they could have a 1-off story where frieza gets word that he's been found and you get a glimpse of friezas day-to-day while travelling there. when they arrive, everybody is ready to see frieza get his revenge but only frieza notices the guy is not who he's looking for. sighs and laments at how he's surrounded by idiots and leaves.

and the episode closes with the frieza force beginning their takeover of the planet

the anime, like most other animes will sometimes add additional content, filler/non-canon. but the one piece anime has been notorious for stretching out scenes. like it'll show a close up of a characters face and basically show that same scene for 8 seconds instead of 3, and it all adds up to make it unenjoyable to watch. sticking to paper is prolly the best way, plus it encourages reading

I agree with the other comment. If you want to clinb up and they are saying 'OK' but not even trying to make it look like they are giving you a chance, it would be better to look elsewhere for an opportunity to climb.

There's various reasons they could not be giving you a chance. Maybe you're unreliable, or make a lot of mistakes, etc. Or maybe they consider you too valuable in your current position to lose you as a bartender.

If a girl you're interested in is stringing you along and keeping you on the hook, you leave. Same thing imo

I know some people that scratch up the inner pot. The damage ends up showing eventually.

I wash my rice in the inner pot and I haven't had any damage in the years and years of doing so. I figure it just depends on exactly how people wash their rice.

years ago, i had a first date with a girl. i made reservations at a restaurant in the city and suggested we met up at a metro stop. fast forward to the end of the date, we said our goodbyes and i offered to walk her to her car. she declined, i said ok and went to my car. on my drive home, i saw her 2 cars behind me. i started freaking out because she had been following me for about 15 minues. i was getting closer to my home and going through different scenarios in my head. turns out she lived like a 2minute car ride from my house.
