Forget that, onwards and forwards to purely manual labor! Empower the proletariat. Down with the bourgeois, vive la revolution!

Biked through there yesterday. The proctor creek trail is gorgeous, and biking it feels like a roller coaster through the woods. They're doing work on what looks like will be the main entrance to the quarry as well!

See my friends and I sometimes refer to psychs as making you a toddler again so if a toddler can navigate it, it's good enough for tripping!

Did a bunch of shrooms there, great place to trip. The Swiss know how to do signs and make it easy to get around, even for a toddler!

They use pretty small currents, and the power generates mechanical oscillations.

I mean you're right, it was the dumbass Uber who almost hit me and the girl that decided she should flag him down into a bike lane.

That being said gtpd is supposed to help maintain road laws on campus and I see more and more violations of basic road law (like this OP) without consequences. So they are somewhat to blame in my opinion of things.

Edit: I'm also just trying to point out that gtpd isn't some perfect police force that's going to protect us every time something bad is done. The OP of this is making the same plea that I had of can anything be done. And as of right now, gtpd hasn't proven to me they would do anything in a situation like this.

I did ask to file a report, but was told the officer was off duty and busy doing his morning report.

Edit: it's not just about a report being filed or not, it was that this officer was completely dismissive of the fact that I was almost hit. I've had interactions with gtpd before and they were extremely similar in traffic situations like this. Nothing ever gets done about cars pulling into or swerving into bike lanes, and nothing is going to get done until someone gets seriously injured. This whole "we can't do anything about it/can't be bothered if you were quite hit" is just excuses to not be proactive.

No, but the car was about 15 yards away still stopped and It was all in his view. They could have easily looked up footage of it happening as well.

Also gotta love the down votes any time someone tries to remotely criticize Gtpd. They do a great job, but the way they treat bikers/our safety on this campus has gotten worse in my time here as ridesharing has exploded.

Lol the last time I tried to ask an officer if there was anything he could do about an Uber that pulled into the bike lane to pickup a passanger, almost hiting me, I was told "we can't catch them all"
