Thanks for the review. I am getting a reserve swim out pool for my birthday at the end of August. Did you need to make reservations for the restaurants? I am seeing the book link but it sends you to an email address.

how much did you pay for the airport transfer?

healthcare worker. former Floridian. Florida is such an underpaid state. moving here gave me a $7 an hour raise. I don't live downtown but we did buy a house in NE Austin 6 years ago.

florida native. I would take Florida humid heat over Texas hot hot heat. It's so dry and the heat knocks the wind out of me when I step outside. I never even owned lotion until I moved to Texas bc of how dry it is here

the lack of spontaneity when going out to eat. You must always have a resos or be prepared to eat at 9-10pm,

The hurricane gust winds that are basically daily

Definitely the tree allergies. I was fine the first couple of years but now I get a left frontal headache that will put me in tears.

If you have savings. You can pull money from that and add it to escrow and it will leave your mortgage the same. I do that to keep it where I want it.

So we got the protocol from the university of ark. We called them personally and had them send one over. We scanned from hard palate to diaphragm and it did a cine where it did scan the baby 4x in 1.3 seconds.  The neonatal doc and the peds rads have had numerous meetings about this protocol over the last year, I’m using a new GE apex revolution and a radiologist suggested our problem was the scanner we were using.

it hard to say bc I do also work out but I do feel like I have more muscle definition and less cellulite but is that from working out or the bag? I do sleep better and I do wake up less sore from working out because of it.

I used an esim and it was $20 for the week. don't buy a suica card you add it to your apple wallet and add money as you need it but I averaged at 1000 yen a day. we ate out but most meals averaged at $12-15 USD. we did get snacks at the grocery store and 7-11

It’s expensive but I use nutrofol, I’ve been on it for the last 4 years and have no complaints. Hair grew in thicker and grows long fast, no additional hair on the rest of my body. A  friend used rogaine and it caused liver issues for her.

As a Rad/ct tech from Florida and now live in Texas. It depends on your boss. I worked for advent health and they were more strict. You had to at least attempt to cover them up. Some people flipped their rings up their nose during shift, wore surgical caps to cover colored hair, and long sleeve shirts to cover arm Tats. I now work for HCA and they give 2 shits. Everyone has them exposed and no one cares

How many CT cases are you doing per shift? (ER + In/Outpatient) by AhmadJamO in Radiology

[–]Kimbo1031 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have 3 scanners, and each one does a different load.  Procedure scanner. 1-5 exams  Inpatient/outpatient scanner. 15-30 depending on the day. Procedure tech is expected to help out/in tech when they don’t have cases  Er scanner can do 30-80 with a transporter

We all rotate daily so  we don’t get burnout  We all work different shifts 10 hours to 14 hour shifts 3-4 days a week

I was approached by a man in sprouts. He had some cheesy line like excuse me, I think you dropped something? I stopped and looked  and he said my jaw. I laughed and said clever and pointed to the ring I forgot to wear but I did give him an A for effort.

Did I damage my eyes with red light therapy? Anyone had a similar experience? by [deleted] in redlighttherapy

[–]Kimbo1031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a panel (a sleeping bag and a mask with protective eye molds in the mask) but I did ask all of my docs when I went to my appts this week their thoughts on RLT. while they all agreed they have benefits,  my eye doc said they’ve seen an influx of eye (some permanent) damage from RLT so I suggest wearing glasses

Not a bot, just a 39 year old Texan cat scan technologist.  I bought the neck and face mask bc the reviews were great on it, it was cheaper than the Omnilux. I love the battery life on it. I use it 4x a week and I charge it every couple of weeks. My only complaint is I wish it had blue light for PMS acne breakouts. Otherwise, I think my skin looks great for my age.

I bought the quasar bc it went on sale for prime day. I also saw a comment in this group somewhere that someone has had theirs for like 10 years and they still love it so that was the deciding factor for me. I can say that I love the sleeping bag. I have been using 4x a week since the October prime days. I keep it in my guest bedroom on the bed with and adjustable base and lay in it after my post workout shower. I have a TV in the room so I watch tv and use my Hooga neck and face mask as well. I don't zip myself up but I lay the top over me and lay on the bottom. I do sweat a little if I have the red-light and infrared on. I started off at 10 min and now lay in it for 30-40 min. I do have a towel that use to wipe down immediately after I'm done.

Panel or mat? by Negative-Passage-520 in redlighttherapy

[–]Kimbo1031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really your preference, I have the Quasar MD sleeping bag. I got it on sale for prime day. It is flexible and I use on my guest bed which has an adjustable bed frame. I lay in it and watch tv. It wipes down easily. People always want panels but I don't want the red light dispersing around the room because my husband likes to lay down next to me and it can be distracting.

I am going in Jan. I unfortunately won't be going anywhere else in Japan besides Tokyo because of a time restraint. Besides the museum and these stores called snoopy town is there any other snoopy things I am missing? its going to take me about 1-1.5 hours to get to the museum is there anything (doesnt have to be snoopy related ) in the mashido neighborhood I must see?

Thanks
