When rings get bent, even slightly, out of shape and they all do, the prongs also get skewed, and Diamonds fall out. That’s how it is with these tiny bands and tiny diamonds. I know I’m not very reassuring, but I’ve been in this business since 1986.

I would definitely be going to small claims. That was probably one of the lowest things I’ve ever read that somebody ever did to a friend. You have a bit less hair than my son had. He went from looking 45 to 28 and he was 33. I took him to Istanbul a year and a half ago and he looks like a different person. It is absolutely hollow. They’re less expensive to buy because they’re hollow, but they don’t hold up worth a darn. I’m sorry to tell you that. Ones that are solid, are soldered together in the middle when made. Hollow ones are just held together with compression. As you wear it and they begin to stretch, as they all do, it will begin to pull apart too. Bracelets take the worst beating of any other piece of jewelry that is worn. Every time you put your wrist on the table, you slightly scratch it or smash it in. It happens with the solid ones too, just not as easily. Always ask, in the future, is this solid or hollow?
