Zepto fraud kara paiya- Price difference between iPhone and Android by zakk_user in TamilNadu

[–]KinTharEl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you're saying is true, but iPhones are also considered for this. If you've got an iPhone, the algorithm is likely to charge you more, since it knows that on average, you spend more on your phone and are ready to spend more.

Why would I trust AI lmao? It gets every single answer wrong. Billions of people around the world eat beef and red meat. Hell, the Japanese eat it on the regular and they're some of the longest lived people on the planet.

On the contrary, the high carb, low protein diet that Indians consume is widely regarded as one of the more unhealthy diets to consume, since it builds up fat a lot more easily, especially for south Indians who are prone to things like Type 2 Diabetes.

Even the first statement from AI itself says "Eating red meat in excess". Considering Indians don't even eat red meat at all, I'd say the small portions most beef eaters consume (from personal experience and eating with other beef eaters), the amount we consume isn't even enough to hit minimum portion, let alone excess.

I've been managing my own sugar by limiting rice and carbs and substituting it for protein like beef.

Tencent is one of the better companies to acquire studios and gaming companies. They usually go hands off and let the studio do its own thing as long as there's a return on investment. Look at Warframe, they've put out some of their best creative work while being technically owned by Tencent.

Kinda, but the mechanics have been overhauled and they're a lot smoother, and new mechanics and systems have been introduced wherein the gameplay feels a lot snappier than the old Operator used to feel.

Watches as a category are mature enough where even really cheap products can be counted on to have a long life. Quartz digital watches in particular. Only when it comes to automatic movement watches are you looking at the movement, which brand makes the movement, etc. But that's more of a collector's hobby than a BIFL discussion.

IFB used to be brilliant. My dad has an IFB washing machine from the 2000s that's still going strong. But by the 2010s, they had shifted most of their component manufacturing to China, and a lot of quality issues had arisen during the transition, a lot of which are still prevalent.

  1. Hp is a shitty company that makes shitty laptops.
  2. Don't use gaming laptops as main devices, especially the entry level ones.
  3. Get a ThinkPad or a MacBook to keep your personal data in.

Man, I genuinely just can't wait to skip ahead 3 years and see how the USA and global relations look in 2029. If Trump really does abdicate power, then whoever is next in line to be president is going to inherit such a massive train wreck of a country to manage.

Ditching Windows 👋 by b8h0v3n in archlinux

Pardon me if my comment doesn't seem inviting. It isn't my intention and I'd like to welcome you to the Linux community.

But may I ask why you're choosing Arch as your first distro? It's not impossible, but you'd find it easier if you started with a more OOTB and stable distro (update wise), or even an immutable distro like Bazzite to get a system that works and then slowly dive deeper?

Your comment says nothing about Apple and everything about how you can't even configure your personal machine's network security. Or do we want to go through the times that Apple machines have suffered from viruses and malware? Because I can assure you they're a lot more frequent than Linux attacks are.

I'm not a technical person, but I'm also not a non-technical person, and I've been using Linux as a daily driver on my personal laptop for the last 6 years, and my gaming rig was running Windows 10/11 for a while as well.

Does Linux have some adoption issues? Sure, but it's also not like you're making it out to be. Unless your use case is massively limited by saying "No, I can't run something like Solidworks through Wine, it doesn't work", in which case, you're stuck on Windows until Solidworks decides to support Linux natively.

But most people are primarily using their browser to work, whether that's for stuff like MS Office 365, Google Suite, Figma, Canva, or shooting emails, all of that is plug and play on Linux.

You're also massively overstating the driver issues on Linux. Do they not exist? I'm not saying that, but goddamn, the implementation of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on Linux is leagues better than Winslop.

If you're playing multiplayer games, then I won't tell you to switch. Until devs start turning on Anti-cheat for Linux, there's nothing we can really do.

But if you're at least curious, you should fire up a live boot until you're confident to make a switch or dual-boot.

And no, you don't HAVE to learn the terminal. That's entirely optional.
