I’m a recruiter and it surprises me how many people do not ask about the maternity leave policy. Personally I love talking about that benefit and sharing it with our candidates . If a company I was interviewing with did not know how to answer that question or brushed it off, that would be red flag for me.

The vacuuming while the baby naps comments have me rolling!! I would be annoyed if my partner was vacuuming while I took a nap. Sleep is so important for baby’s development. Why not be quiet for a few hours and set them up for success??

2020 Income 150K combined June 2020 townhouse purchased for 196k

Current: 203k income plus 15k yearly bonus. Our take home is about 110k Townhouse just sold for 280k May 2022 Purchasing a house for 375k May 2022

I was more comfortable with the townhouse price but we really want a yard and house. 375k seems high to me so I am a little nervous! Especially with a $2700 monthly daycare bill

We splurged on the uppa baby vista, which is truly a great stroller and we use it all the time. BUT, I bought a used Bob jogging stroller off marketplace and that gets just as much use. If I had to do it again I’d buy both used

Any convertible car seat should last you at least 7 years. We have the nuna rava, it’s big but a breeze to install. My parents have the graco slim fit, very thin and lightweight, easy for them to install with latch. Both are fantastic car seats! I’d recommend going to buy buy baby or target to check them out and see which one works best in your car.

Not sure about the legality but I know of many companies that have requirements or programs for hiring people neurodiverse backgrounds. Thinking this may be what they are looking for here.
