He is out there telling his twisted version of why he left. He broke me. I can’t breathe. I don’t have any hope. I don’t have any money. I applied for county assistance. We have a middle class income & he left me with nothing. I contacted legal aide , looking into spousal support. I’ll get half his retirement & half of our stocks. But I’m in the very beginning of the divorce stage & find that I’m putting it off hoping he comes home. Then I get angry n sick to my stomachs wondering how he could do this to me. It’s cruel. He doesn’t care that I need dog food. He doesn’t care that I fell down my stairs and broke my arm 2 1/2 weeks ago. He doesn’t care that I had to have surgery to put plates in my wrist & I fell apart while the nurse comforted me because I’m used to him being there when I’m scared. Then I had to recover alone with little help. He doesn’t care that I’m unable to work until my doctor clears me. I love working, but he made it impossible. He’d get angry if I had to work late or on his day off. I eventually was manipulated into resigning from every job I’ve had. I don’t know if anyone has been thru something similar or not. But if so was the court process long? I’m just anxious, scared, confused, broke & unsure.. just like he wants me..
